pesticides you say? BAH! an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of chronic. after my first grow I have been hooked on ladybugs cause of a terrible accident trying to kill fungus gnats. I find that if I keep ladybugs in box from about two weeks from seed that I never have a bug problem to deal with. plus if some go missing my backyard is always stocked if I take the time to look. observe and enjoy

bout 5-10 at any given time. the thing with ladybugs is if they are doing their job then the bad bugs will be scared off and their food supply(the bugs) will dwindle. when this happens the ladybugs will only live about a week without food before they croak. if you do not clean up dead ladybugs then bigger bugs that the ladybugs cant eat will come in and scavenge the dead ones. usually spiders and such that dont mess with the plants anyway but I clean up the dead ones and replace them about once every week or two. takes like 5 mins. oh yeah and on a sadder note my last strawberry field turned into a hermie so my roomate is going to take care of it to localize pollen outside of growroom. he did this last grow with two hermies and he picked off pollen sacks with tweezers every day and the end result bud had only 1 seed and worked and tasted just fine. so shes down but not out. will post new pics tomorrow. the biggest girl is at 31" now which is double her size in just two weeks and she continues to grow 2" every single day. so stoked. peace!

goddam the super female bubblegum is growing so fast. was 31" yesterday and has been growing at 2 inches a day but last night it grew 4" !!! now at 35" and I cant raise my light fast enough. heres a few pics ummm first pic is of side shot of the taller suckers, second is height of super female and the third is my last mazar from above. I love the way it looks like this. oh yeah the piece of leaf you see missing on the afghan, lets just say keep cats away from your weed. cat almost became to expensive to justify existence if you know what I mean. ENJOY

love that mazar. cant wait til mine start getting into that stage. Im glad i got it because most of my strains are sativa dom and i needed a good indica to round my grow out. have you ever tried it? All your plants look good man. no purple stems or weird looking leaves. just nice and green, the way it was meant to be
my girl is about to move in and bring her cat too. it better stay away from my girls!

had some awesome afghan about two weeks ago from a dealer friend(thats right, friend and dealer, sweet setup huh?) that always brings me some serious chronic and of all the different stuff I got from him this afghan smelled the strongest of any weed I have ever smoked. the buds were super dense and sticky. he likes kush alot and when he brings the kush over it always smells nice but cannot compare to the mazar. the closest thing I can compare it to is NL#5. as far as bud structure that is. once again smell is a different story. expect to have a nerf football top cola that will break off into a million bowl hits off of 1 big bud. trust me for the small space it takes up it makes sure to reward its master. just make sure to water alot. I think its the second shortest and I water it the most(I have a ph, light, and water meter that I use to check soil moisture, you can see it in last afghan pic). definitely an xbox360 or sleeping aid high to be sure. dont smoke before public speaking or work. makes you feel like a dumbass for 2 hours. but when in rome...

allright well 2 weeks into flower and starting to get alot of pistils. calyx size remains small but the pistils are huge! hairiest stuff I have grown so far. the big lady just wont stop growing.it has branches from bottom nodes that are taller than the tops of my shorter plants! the next few weeks are gonna rock ass! P.S. the strawberry has gotten to tall already to stay in roomates room and will become an outdoor plant soon. will be planted right next to an afghan I gave my friend that lives in north carolina that is doing well. will get outdoor pics of those two soon. oh and congrats to akrevo on succesful harvest season. hoping to walk a mile in those shoes soon! Pretty funny cuz i do the same thing to my plants and i usually verbally threaten em to grow faster they seem to listen....sometimes. Looks like your about to be where Im at in a month or so. Ill really be watching to see how these develop cuz theyre looking great right now and TALL with at least 2 more weeks of growing. how big were they when you started to flower? On another note, I have 2 Mazar seedlings that are finally getting in the growing stage. good luck!

alright I spent all day working on garden and upgraded light system slightly. my garden is 3x3 but with only 7 plants in that space they get good light but I wanted to bump up the light one the fringes(in corners and so forth) so I picked up three 2700K 23 watt CFL's. supposed to replace a standard 100W. I put up a few pics of were I stuck them and a pic of my overcrowded surge protector. yes I have a fully charged fire extinguisher. why do you ask?

well its been a week, a busy one at that, and I figure I would update before I forget. all is well with the exception of the smallest bubblegum. got sick with what I think is nute lockout and wont drink the water I give it effectively giving it root rot. roommate trying to nurse it back. flushed the shit out of it and is under sunlight so maybe. but as far as the rest go it couldnt be better. the 1 mazar I have left is doing awesome and flowering nicely. and the bubbles are packing it on. they are still less than a month into flower and not an orange pistil yet. these should have some weight when they are done. heres 3 more shots of the garden. hope ya like!
