nutes on new plants

I have some 2 week old plants, outdoors, sprouted inside then planted into the ground.. All I did was break up the soil nothing else.

Plants are around 3" tall, 3 days ago I gave them 1/4" dose of 15-30-15, and idk if I'm crazy, but I swear they went from around 3" to 5" in 3 days?!

I don't know if its the fact they are getting bigger, so they are growing faster, or if its the fact they needed the nutes..

But just curious, how often should I nute? Should I just give them nutes again after 2 more waterings (aprox 6-9 days)??
SHould I try ramping my nutes up (same 1/4 dosage, just more often) until I see any signs of nute burn??

I know most people dont recommend nutes on plants small as mine, but they seemed to LOVE the nutes I gave them..

Also I plan on purchasing a better veg nute at the end of the month, something like 20-10-10 or whatever... I might stick with my 15-30-15 for flower though, but idk, thats months away, and I'm sure I can afford other nutes for flowering if I need.

Just figure I should use this box of nutes I got =P

sure why not if it works go for it, you can measure your plantseach day at the same time and you can see the results after the first few days after feeding.
Soil grown plants can take a much higher level of feeding as the nutes can dissipate further out than if in a container.

Next time I go out I'm DEFINITELY gonna measure them

at this point I haven't taken the time to measure them, considering it's taken almost 2 weeks form the time they poked through the soil to get to 3"

i wouldnt recommend nutes at 2 weeks...if your set on doin it do extremely small doses. to much in short period of time and you can stunt those or have other problems... i usually wait 3 to 4 weeks before adding small dose of organic nutes

Nah its ok, i had 2 weeks old seedlings i added 300 PPM of dutchmaster a and b and they were fine... Make sure you use Spring Water and not TAP though.

400-500 will prob cause nute burns though.

I've been using pond water

not really sure what ppm it is

It's mostly from streets/neighborhood yards. that's what feeds the pond/creek I get water from
