how deep to plant

hi.sorry if this sounds stupid but i dont want to F this up..ok i started seeds in peat pellets ,now they are about 2 1/2 in high and the roots are starting to show and i need to get them in soil ,what is was wondering was how deep should i put them in the soil ?just to cover the pellet or just below the leaves?.thanks

Just below the leaves Pat, and keep em as close to the light as you can to prevent more stretching. Good luck with your grow. :joint:

I had some seedlings that were about 6 inches tall and stretching from bad light and one bent over, so I moved them into a 3 gallon home and buried the bent part of the stem so only the leaves were coming out of the ground and now the plant that was bent as a seedling is my most healthy adult.
