wheres the leafs!?

i have 12 plants that are about a week old and they still are growing their first tiny set of leafs... they are getting lots of light. all day they sit by the window or out in the sun, all night they are under a 13w lamp (cant use anything else). they are growing in peat pellots. they are growing up quite tall, but like i said have only 1 set of tiny little leafs... help!!

sounds to me like they are either getting overwatered, staying too wet, or need to be put under just the flouros 24/0 untill they stop stretching. Or both.

Be patient, man. They should start to develop pretty soon. Just keep them in 24 hours of light and they will push out that next set of leaves before you know it. Keep us posted.

you should post some pics. different plants grow different though. i was worried about my plants and theyre small buds, but now suddenly im in week 9 and theyre just budding all crasy and getting a big fat cola. im so relieved lol.

yeh i cant keep them under my light all day or they will be found. i dont THINK im overwatering because im watering every 3 days.ish. they are in small peat pellots so the earth dries out fairly quickly, though i think some moisture stays deep down. i will cut back on watering and keep giving them light, tell you if it improves.

(also, cant do pics, camerca was stolen from my luggage when i was on a trip to mexico! grrr!)

ok so today was a shitty day. i put them outside in the sun (this wasn't their first day in the sun) and about half of them died. the ones that didnt look fairly healthy still but are still on their first leaves... im so lucky i was just using shitty bagseeds from a friend. first leaves havn't even grown much.... ill be putting them under the lamp again tonight tell you if they've changed overnight. peace
