Killer internodial growth going on the two FIMmed stems and cenral shaft got FIMmed again 2 days ago responding quite nicely.. I noticed the plant likes waterings even when the coco is stilll damp. works great no over water so far. basically watering thru in morning and before lights shut out..
Sweet, they are lookin good and im glad the FIM method has done well for you. Coco loves to be watered and I dont think I have ever over watered a plant in coco coz thats pretty hard to do and I water more than most would. How many times you watering now?

When are you planning to turn them? I only ask because if you turn them in the next week you may need to lower that screen to get the most benefit out of it.

I water her twice a day.

I will be turning the lights in about ten days. (As your recommendation of two weeks after FIM)

I dont have any experience with the net and have never found a guide on where to position it... currently its twenty six inches off the ground. Should I lower it? Im getting an inch or more growth a day right now... I also will be trimming a lot of the lower growth off for clones you think I should do that now or right before I switch the lights?

Thanks for your input

bro!!!!!!!!! they look like ther happy to be alive!! great job!! since ur going for just tops anyhow....... are u gonna lollypop them? it works great... i do it even being on the floor in 2 gall buckets.
Yea buddy! The clones are finally startin to come alive and the GDP's an animal. New tent is much nicer for me as well.

As a side note, since I pulled out the GDP and removed all the perlite that lined the bottom half of the pot things are way better. I now am finding the benefits of the coco that everyone talks about.

trim those big fan leaves. your gonna cut down on your over all harvest. look how much light penetration differs passing down the plant. the more light you get to your bud sites = dense bud formation and more weight. after a certain period of time the fan leaves shut down production to the rest of the plant but continue to grow themselves.

Glad you bring that up bSmokey. I took 4 clones today and will be taking it down to a just couple main branches by flower time (11 more days). I just want to be sure these 4 clones survive before I whack off my only hopes as Im a newb to cloning.

you dont have to take off the new branches, but taking off those massive fan leaves will help alot. if you plan on "lollipopping" them then there is no need for a screen.

:? IDK why I cant get these dam things to root. Do you think these will come back?

I simply just cut the bottom section of the main branch off at a 45* and then drop it into clonex for a while then put it in the coco mix... Man. Please help if you can.

I have never used a screen or netting before although I have used a similar method with using string as a kind of netting.

Anyway the following links may be of interest to you. They explain all about the screen type methods (SCROG).

Is this the sort of thing you want to achieve with the screen?

Yea I just have the screen in there to better hold the buds just like what you show has done. Along the way Im trying to utilize it for some better light penetration as well.... Feel sorry for the those green roots although the grow looks healthy yikes!

Ill be checking those links out thanks! PS you have a comment on those clones? I just cant figure it out and need at least one to stay alive!

We clone in rockwool and then once rooted we move them into coco. Have you tried them in rockwool with a bit of rooting gel or powder covering the end?

I think these are rooting which is pretty good they are just wilted pretty bad but my four clones that are now fairly decent in size were in far worse condition so im hoping these will come up with their tops pretty soon. I will then begin to flower! Cant wait House special sativa can get some arm size nugs and I **Hope*** the FIM pays off huge for my lil GDP lady.

On the other hand if these clones dont go workout I have rockwol cubes and I will try that.

So the clones have rooted? They just look like they havnt because it looks like they are not taking to the pots. Im no expert with starting clones as I never had to start them very often. I get mine from a friend all ready rooted and ready to put in my pots. We usually have the lower leaves all trimmed off before rooting them which seems to help them to get started.

I cant really tell that the clones have or have not rooted because I moved them into the cups and buried the small coco baskets I originally had them in. (after seeing that two separate clones had what appeared to be a root coming out of the top of the coco) I feel as if they are rooted in there when I ever so lightly pull up on the stem.

Tilemaster, I will be hitting you up in a couple days perhaps on the DIY. I believe I have everything I need for it.

Pic 7 of FIM I did about 8 days ago. Pic 8 is of the crazy growth it must be over an inch a day and can you see the way those nuggets are gonna form... She seems as though shes preparing.

Pic 6 BIG ? Im thinking of cutting off about 6 of those lower branches Refer to pic 5 and it will leave me with basically the three way split of the first fim and two other branches.. You can see most of what will be kept in this pic.

Hopefully my clones make it. I hope just one lol I know for a fact the one on the left has no roots I dug her up. Although I swear its gotten larger.

Pic 3 is what im hoping turns to ice and forms big cola's

Thanks! Yea Im getting the hang of this way of doin it now. Check EC Check PH water and water often lol. No problem on the clones you have been a huge help in everything else.

How long you think I should still wait on that new FIM before switching over the lights? Its been 9 days so far...
