Newb Grower, First Attempt with Pictures

I have been reading up a bit and decided to try out some growing in an attic space.

I have 10 seed starting fiber pots that I put my seedlings in. I germinated them until just the white tip poked out.

Soil:
The soil I am currently using is miracle grow potting soil, mixed with miracle grow perilite.

Lighting:
I am using a two tube 48" fluorescent work light that is dangling from the ceiling.

Grow Room:
I have this set up in an attic space. It is actually very dusty in there and there's lots of old, something, like dusty cloth crap, I don't really know what it is, but it is all over.

Air Circulation:
I have a large fan in there that is pointed at a spot on the wall so it blows over the plants but not with a ton of force.

Other:
I also have a heating pad in there since right now where I live it gets close to freezing for another month, if it's too cold on a certain night I will turn it on low and place it underneath my plants, with plastic separating them.

I would like some feed back. A few questions I am wondering are:

Is that dusty cloth junk going to mess with my plants due to it being dusty?

Will the miracle grow perilite combo make my plants grow fast?

Will my plants survive in a dry attic and with only the fluorescent light throughout the entire process?

Any feedback is welcome. I am on a very tight budget so I spent as little as possible to get this thing underway.

Ignore the 4 big pots, those will be fore my best 4 females that I get out of the 10 little guys. Those were failed attempts with regular topsoil and even worse lighting ><

This is the dusty cloth crap I was talking about, it's like old stuffed animal insides covered in dust. I dunno if it will harm my plants or not.

Probably.
Any feedback is welcome. I am on a very tight budget so I spent as little as possible to get this thing underway.

I would try hanging some Panda film and get some humiidty in there also.

Yes clean all that crap in there. Cleaner set up= cleaner bud. Get some mylar in there too and using the flourecents the whole process wont be the best outcome. You will want to cahnge to a HPS or a HID lamp preferably 400w - 1000w with that space you got there in the flowering phase to have big dank buds. The heat map was a good idea considering in attics it does get freezing during the night.

One problem im guessing you have is humidity. If you have enough buy a humidifier if not, get a kettle in there and boil it with the lid open. Works perfect for me.

That dust stuff is insulation...I personally wouldn't want my plants around it, nor would I want to be breathing it in...I'd strongly advise sealing off an area to grow in, for your safety as well as your plants. I dunno if I'd go so far as to remove it all...just seal over it...throw down some plywood or w/e and seal off a section to work in.

What scares me is that pink fiberglass insulation on the wall. All that stuff will circulate with the fan goin and believe me, mature pot plants are dust magnets.
No problem though, get all of it covered with a barrier of some kind and do a general cleanup of the area. Shop vac any existing dust on the rafters and such.
