Yeah man, the Rain is killing me!

Everyday now for almost 2 weeks there have been heavy rains and thunderstorms! I can't keep my plants inside or around my house and they are not looking too good :(

My forecast says it's going to continue raining through the weekend, by that time it may be too late. I'm crossing my fingers but it does not look too good.

Damn. That sucks. Here where I live in SoCal its a rarity to see rain.
We see rain here maybe 6 times total a year. And sometimes it lasts for 2-3 days. But that hardly happens.

I want some fresh rain water!!!

Wanna send me some?
lol.

I live in the valley, its pretty hot here. Last week it was 72 degrees, and today it was 97!!!!

Thats a 25 degree difference in 6 days!!!

I hear you purplekitty,

I used to live Outside of San Diego and I would miss the rain sometimes. I really like it here when the whole day is sunny and then a late afternoon Thunderstorm will come and only last for 20 minutes.

And yeah that is a Dramatic temperature change!

I spent march in park city utah and they had the most dramatic temp swings I've ever experienced. 80 at noon, then 40 inches of fresh powder overnight...skiing the next day in t-shirts, and the day after that in four layers.

Real easy to get sick if you're not used to it.

omg, tell me about it. I've been living here for going on 12 years, and I still
get sick from seasonal allergies from drastic weather changes. It sucks.

I always get oober congested and coughy.

My doctor put me on a a claritin a day and Flonase to help.
Still sucks.

Sadly I'm one of those people who has the whole "allergies and asthma"
thing.

I'd say so far, I have it under control this year since I've been on the
claritin and Flonase.

I love summer though. Even though it gets 115 out here. Gotta love the
beaches!!!

My plants, and I, have been enjoying the past 3 days of sunshine. went out and checked them, rain didn't seem to do any damage... but something was munching on two of them. going to have to step up my pest deterrents.

Charlotte Area here. I have converted my indoor grow to outdoor after cloning 4 mothers. Trainwreck, Afghan Kush, Northern Lights, and Super Skunk. A mix of peat moss, Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil, cow manure, perlite, and bagged topsoil were backpacked in. Of 20 clones put in 9 didn't get eaten by a deer or rabbit. All 4 mothers were put in some pine bottoms. I visit them at night for waterings and feedings (FF Grow Big, Tiger Bloom, and Big Bloom) and a few occasional pictures. I, too, have gotten more than enough rain, its raining at the moment as well. Nice to meet you guys.

we could be neighbors, haha! man I wish I wouldve started a few indoor like you, rather than use seedlings. If those hang tough, you'll be yielding a lot! beautiful plants. Wish i knew more locals in person, Id love some clones. :-|

Those were 3 of the mother's. I'll get some pics of the clones once this rain dies down a little. I'm about 20 minutes of the Queen city and have given out over 40 clones to friends and friends of friends so this stuff should be around for a while. Also I took cuttings from each mother and put them in the fridge to start all over again about a month before these ladies are done.

What are you working with indoor? I've been using 400w with CFLs, due to space. Thinking about stepping it up a notch, maybe not. Def would like a 1000w, but not until I can devote more room.

I have 3 65 watt cfl"s and numerous 26w cfls on the clones. Once I figured out I was moving outside I put one mother under each 65watter and just let them veg.
