help please

ok so i am really new to growing weed,i do smoke it a lot but this is the first time i am trying to grow it i have a fluorescent light the pots i need for my plants fox farm soil,and fertilizer also some nutrient tube from fox farm and i just got done germinating my seeds and i was wondering what i should do after i plant them

keep the light on 18 hours off 6 hours?
how often do i water the plant?
do i keep my fan on the plant?
when should i start giving it the nutrient thing after the third week or what please help me =)

24/0 20/4 18/6 those are all vegg light cycles. 12/12 is to indulge flowering. Youwant to have 6500k floros for vegg & 2700k for flowering that's the kelvin values you are looking for. Get as much light as possible. No suchhing as too much light. Get allthe bulbs as close as possible to your plant without burning it. Place yor hand between the bulb & the plant if your hand is too hot then the plant is too hot too.

Keep the fan going all the time. Make it a light breeze on the plant. The swaying will bruis the plants stems & they will heal grow g an imune to the wind. Which means thicker stems. It helps the plant breath better too.

As for watering water everyimeyoyr plant is completely dry. Once a week is fine. If your water too much the plants roots will suffocate & your plant will be stressed

No nutes for about a month & a half. Dirt has alot of natural nutes in it so let it grow a bit bigger. & when yu do start feeding nutes go with 1/4 the recommended dosage.

ok thank you and as i stated before this is my first time i growing i dont know what the 2700k and 6000k lights mean i bought this flourcescent light from my local nursey it was only $50 so idk if thats good or not and im going with 18/6 but you said water everytime my plant is dry but once a week is good so which one, once a week or everytime i feel the soil and its dry?

i have three controls on my fan im putting it at 1 and putting it about 1 1/2 feet from my plant then my light is suspended about 4-6 inchs from my plant

ill again ask how often should i water my plant i just got done germinating i moistened my soul a little then i put my seed in about 1/2 in deep and put a few more drops of water on where i covered the seed so how often do i water it?

just make sure that the soil stays moist. don't let it dry until the plant sprouts from the dirt. when it does that...turn the light on. that's been my strategy anyway...

cause after i put the seed in the soul i put it under my florescent light

All these things are things you're going to have to really figure out on your own if you want to become a good gardener you're going to have to learn to read soil moisture and the signs plants give off. All I can really say is don't use nutrients until 5 blade leafs show up or 4 nodes are well formed, and put the CFL almost touching the plant.

true true but it helps you become a good gardener/growing if you get tips on where your weak im just gonna keep soil moist and hopefully it works

Do you have a spray bottle you can use it really helps to just spray for up to the first month or when the plants done being a seedling. I didn't start a watering schedule until a month, but I did do a few things wrong with my first plants.

yea i have a spray bottle im thinking ill spray it 4 times a day probably 2-4 hours apart is that good?

You may need less, most days I would spray twice a day, just wet it enough to saturate the soil right where the plant comes out and leave a little around it dry so you can see the soil dry out around the plant. Plants like a constant light schedule and watering schedule.

I tried spraying only and my plants started dying cause of underwatering. Spraying worked ok for 2 weeks or so but 5 seedlings fell over. I tied them up and actually watered them and now they're holding themselves up again. I also stuck a straw in the dirt to make sure the water was getting to the roots by spraying down the straw. By spraying the stem and leaves they don't absorb as much water as the roots. So I'm just saying be careful when spraying and make sure not to underwater.

will do since he said 4 might be to much i am going to spray twice a day and actually put water in the soul once every two days not to worried about under watering its over watering im worried about for some reason

So it's a sprout but you want to avoid transplanting so keep in mind that when she gets big enough you need about a gallon of dirt for every foot of height she's got on her. 5foot plants need about a 5gallon pot. I let my clone go from rockwool to 5gallon pots with about 12inches of hieght. So get two pots. Let 1of them go real mega dry & then fully water 1of them. There will be a weight difference that will be easy to distinguish on instinct & common sense. So lift your bucket once a week. & you'll feel if the pot is heavy or lght. & if it's dry once a week then water once a week or as often as the pot goes light.

Since it's a sprout keep the dirt moist but not soaking wet. & no nutes untill it has at least 5nodes on it. 1/4 the strength of the recommended nute feeding dosage. As she gets big gradually increase the nute feeding potncy.
After she's grown a bit don't over water or keepthe soil heavy wet. You want your dirt to dry as the air that leaks into the soil carries oxygen your plantsroots can use to breath a bit. Wet dirt suffocates your plants roots & she will let to know she's stressed out.

& the 1st part of your plants life is over. Germination. She's got almost a couple of nodes on her & she is developing roots now. So light is a must so she can go on with a healthy photosynthesis process. Keep the light as close as possible without heating her up.

nope that covers everything thank you im going with the 18/6 cycle and ill just keep the water a little moist plus i have lots of friends that grow like 30 plants right after another like once they done harvesting they plant 30 more so if something goes wrong ill ask you guys and them thanks =p
