spider mites

Hey guys im less than 3 weeks from harvest and i got spider mites on some of my plants really bad.Me n the ol lady been trying to get them off and their webs by hand what will happen to my plants and or what do i do ? I ve tried flora mite and 1500 lady bugs i dont know what elst to do i gotta flush next week. please help!!!!!?????:-|:cry:

Don't spray with any pesticides you are to close to harvest. Spray down the plant with ice cold water. This will keep them at bay till you harvest.

Yes right before lights go out. You should also try to drop the temp in the grow room to about 65 to 70 with lights out if that is possible. The mites do not like the cold. This might stop them but will not kill them. They are hard as hell to get rid of.

Also when you spray them down get the undersides of the leaves. That's where they hang out. Do not saturate your buds either. If you over spray them you could develop mold. Just mist the leaves every other day or so.

or try to get a bug zaper if your room is big the light is blue so try for a night or two it won't fuck up the 12/12

give then some time most lady bug are feed alot just sit and vac if you can, cold water will help and try to drop the temp a little.

What about spraying with iso alcohol/water (50/50 mix)? It kills them, and it evaporates quickly, so it would be less likely to encourage any mold. I haven't tried it during flower, so can't say if it's a good idea. Just throwing out a thought... maybe someone else has tried it and can tell you if it's safe or not. (Not good for ladybugs though I'm sure).
