I'm calling it a day with my AK47 grow and I've created a day by day journal in PDF format for everyone.

(2009) AK47 Grow Journal - Malbulja.pdf

I hope this starts a trend. It would be great to read through entire grows from the perspective of the grower, without having to sift through 100 pages of interruptions and comments.

Feedback welcome.

Ha.. if anyone was interested I made an MS Word template so anyone could create one of these with very little effort.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm no expert myself and accurate info on CFLs is hard to find so I figured I'd put this out there for anyone who wants to see a CFL grow from start to finish.

im gunna keep this on my hd for the next time someone says you cant yield much bud using cfl's, 2 ounces dry isnt bad at all

Yea, 72g was the initial dry weight after a week of drying (smokable but the center of dense buds still had too much moisture). After curing for a few more weeks and drying completely through the final (market ready) dry weight was 60g (and this doesn't include the firecrackers I made or any of the bowls I smoked throughout those weeks to test for dryness).

This was my first indoor CFL grow and I was extremely impressed with both the Serious Seeds genetics as well as the performance of Miracle-Gro Potting Soil and CFL lighting.

I've said it many times before and I'll say it again, I love miracle-gro and I highly recommend it. That MG handled all my nutrients for the entire grow and never showed any sign what so ever of any deficiency or problem. It was so clean and easy to use. I was skeptical at the beginning but I am a true MG believer now.

Ha.. thanks man. I'm an old school guy so I don't have much experience with all the new web tools being released by Google and others.

For my PDF books I use Microsoft Word with the PDF Distiller to convert the document to PDF

For my applications I use a mix of technologies and programming languages (C++, C#, JavaScript, ASP.NET, PHP, Flash, etc, etc) depending on the requirement. For the GrowFAQ/StrainGuide I used a mix of the .NET Framework, HTML/CSS, and Regular Expressions.
