my problem is that my tent is 6.5 ft tall and the hood takes about 2 feet and my plants are 3 feet and im 4 days into flowering, what do i do? should i cut the top and not have a cola bud? what do i do thanks guys
yes!! plz dont cut anything, LST!!!Gently bend the tops horizontal and tie them down with cotton string. It is called LST or Low Stress Training. You will be good to go.
Do i keep it tied off for the whole time?does that shoot all the growth to the bottom of the plant? what would a net be used for??Gently bend the tops horizontal and tie them down with cotton string. It is called LST or Low Stress Training. You will be good to go.
Yes, you keep it tied down the whole time. Be sure not to bend it too much and snap it off! Had that happen to me way too many times to count, seriously. No, it doesn't shoot all the growth to the bottom, it will continue to grow a nice top. A net is just used for support of heavy tops so that they don't flop over, just keeps everything up and close to the light source.Do i keep it tied off for the whole time?does that shoot all the growth to the bottom of the plant? what would a net be used for??
i wont lol thanx for warning me, i will go buy some string today and tie them all down tonight when the lights are onYes, you keep it tied down the whole time. wats supercropping, pros cons? You could just supercrop them too since you are only 4 days into flowering.
I have supercropped 2 weeks into flowering without Any negative reaction from the plants. I just hate having string and/ or fishing line tied up all over the place, they always seem to get snagged on something.
Pretty much you font want to be so aggressive that you seriously damage the plant just enough force to weaken the area so it's more receptive to tfe bend , I heard that you are fine as long as you don't break the central tube, but I have 5 plants now that I'm veging and ccropped about 3 weeks in and when I pinched all of them I felt a pop like the central tube burst but I went on a the plan n tied em down... no problems at all they only took about 3 days to recoupe.so you pinch it where you want to bend it and then tie it down???
damn this is sounding too crazy for mee i think ill just bend them a little and tie them off to the pot lolPretty much you font want to be so aggressive that you seriously damage the plant just enough force to weaken the area so it's more receptive to tfe bend , I heard that you are fine as long as you don't break the central tube, but I have 5 plants now that I'm veging and ccropped about 3 weeks in and when I pinched all of them I felt a pop like the central tube burst but I went on a the plan n tied em down... no problems at all they only took about 3 days to recoupe.
But conversely the girls I have budding right now that I cropped I did it much later in veg and one in flower and each of them the outer stalk split like when you take a sappling( non dried moist branch of tree will suffice) and bend it over your knee to break it. It won't break it just bends and splits lengthwise.
So I'd say you deft don't want to expose the inner tube but if you damage it especially early it will recouperate... But too much stress can have negative effects so don't go hog-wild
