Flushing Question

You hear of flushing WITH molasses, but what about flushing with both molasses and seaweed extract? But it's not really flushing if you're adding a bunch of stuff, correct?

Would you recommend doing them together for 2 weeks, and then maybe straight water the very last week? Thoughts?

My thoughts are that they are both organic, but maybe leave it out the "final" flush... but any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Super thanks!

If you want to use them both right up untill harvest then thats fine but I would still use the Emergency Flush method before drying them. I use nutes all the way up untill harvest and then I do the emergency flush for 3 days and thats all they need for a good flushing and great tasting buds.

Do you get stellar results from using the molasses and seaweed until harvest?

I dont use molases or seaweed, I use my A and B nutes and in the last 2 weeks I use Liquid Lead aswell. Then I use the Emergency flush and the results are great. Plants need their nutes during the last 2 weeks which is why the emergency flush works so well.

u seem experienced ive seen alot of ur plants and the whole FIMing thing..but havnt u heard about flushing for 2-4weeks? its suppose to force the plant to use all its sugars in the leaves for bigger thc filled buds.. u dont agree with that? u think flushing isnt a big deal? cuz i hear its really important to give ur plant just water for the last 2weeks and up to 28days

Yeah I have heard about it and I used to flush for 1-2 weeks but since then I have found a better way which I have used on a number of my past grows and I think it does the exact same job in a lot less than half the time. Also by allowing the plant nutes during the last 2 weeks helps to increase yield and really thicken up the buds.

Whenever you flush soil, you will never get rid of all of the nutrients from it, so the plant still has some nutrients available to it during a regular "soil flush". The 'Emergency Flush doesnt leave any nutes available to the plant which makes for a good flushing.

no shit so u actually use that technique? the emergency flush technique that u posted? thats crazy i never heard of that and it seems difficult..i would think it would be hard to balance ur plant once u cut the trunk

Yeah I use it but I dont do it the exact same way as in the links I posted. I cut each main branch off and stand them up in a large barrel with the airstones so its actually very simple for me. I will be doing a tute with pics showing how I do it when I harvest in a few weeks time.

yea i was thinking it would be difficult for monster growers..one of ur branches is bigger than most peoples whole plant lol im somewhat of a monster grower to so i'd probably have to do it the same way u do
