Do you use antiperspirant?

I have read / heard lots of bad stuff about antiperspirant. Some claim that the aluminum inside of it may lead to greater risk of alzheimers. I talked to my oncologist and he said that although he is not a specialist on the topic he stopped wearing antiperspirant a few years ago and switched to deodorant because "it can't be healthy to block and function of your body; on top of sweating to cool you sweat releases toxins."

So I stopped wearing antiperspirant and the odor that is coming out of me is noxious. It is so bad....

Anyone share this symptom?

I wear antiperspirant. On the back it says ask a dr. before use if you have kidney disease. Pretty strange. Oh well, I'm not worried.

I use solely deodorant. No aluminum [insert blank here] for me.

When I used antiperspirant I noticed when I didn't wear it my sweat smelled horrid('they' say it may cause breast cancer). I don't think it's a good idea to halt a natural body process. Would you hold in your farts, piss, or shit? No? Then why your sweat?

Sweating releases toxins(similar content as urine).... Not doing so promotes the build up of toxins in the flesh. Plants also do this.

I can smell the difference.

theres such a thing as a crystal deodrant stick. check it out, go into a health food store, they should sell one. but what it does is kill the bacteria that makes you smell, but you can use a deodrant as well on top of it, so it could be a natural help. :)

It's just salt. My mother uses Everclear in a spray bottle for deodorant.

Actually, the salt deodorant works extremely well(and lasts a very long time). It kills the bacteria which cause odor. And has no odor in and of itself.

It can possibly cause dry skin though.
