So, about 1 1/2 weeks a go, my Shiva Skunk was neglected. I was away fer a few days, my partner fell through and she was underwatered. Well, she has not absorbed the water since then! She was obviously dead, tho sadly not fully mature fer me!
Last night her days came to an end and here's the shitty pics. The pics were taken 4 hours after I cut her, I weighed her right wen I cut and she was 28 grams, 4 hours later, 1.5 grams lighter.
We will see in the next few how she is.
I actually might dry a lil nug in the microwave just to see wat the effect is. I know that she shud taste nice after drying and curing, we'll see wat the microwave does

. I've found any kind f quick drying to, well, pretty much suck. Idk, maybe it's just me but it still tends to taste more like 'plant' than anything else, although it did still do the trick, in a pinch. Good luck with the rest

if you use a microwave, what I do is heat it up 10 seconds at a time on a glass dish....after every 10 seconds I take it out and let the moisure out of the buds.....you can actually see the condensation from the buds on the glass plate...I do this for a few microwave blasts then I let it airdry for 5 mins.... smoke will be harsh, but you will be able to sample your buds...... just an opinion from a humble learner

Dr. G...have you tried using the micro at 20% power? works real, well and you don't have to air dry it. 20%/20secs. Repeat 3 or 4 times as necessary.

I got a cheap ass microwave just a timer to turn and thats it.... forgive me for my cheapness, I'm just a struggling democrat!! LOL nah, but seriously, my microwave is CHEAP... aloha CJ hope you lurking my journal

So, it seems as if the misadventures of Harborside continue fer me, wherever in the hell I am!
My first mishap was w/the Casey Jones that, unbeknown to me, was diseased wen I bought her. I wont hold the Shiva Skunk against them (my bad fer not makin sure she was watered) tho she was from Harborside, as well. My latest mishap was 2 nights a go, wen checkin on the girls, I found mold in my Hindu Skunk! Ok, I am in my grow room EVERY day (except the few wen I was gone), and never once has there been any mold in there or the humidity levels that mold are found in, or stress factors that could have cased this. She only had maybe 10 more days til I was gonna harvest her puny ass. So, of course, she was removed and chopped 10 days early. I am enclosing the pics of this lil fungi. The 1st pic is of the main kola, second pic is all the lil sack yielded WET! and the 3rd is a group shot.
As ya can imagine, I have not been very thrilled w/the yield from either of these girls, and am GREATLY lookin forward to the harvest of my bigger indoor girls!
Looks like so far I will have yoelded 1/2 oz from 2 plants! No good fer me. I know why, and will never do wat I did wrong again!
BTW, the smoke from the Shiva is awesome! Great high, not as deep as I like, but great none the less. W/another day or 2 of curing left, she has a delicious taste as well. Too bad she was so small

So here goes some harvest pics. I will do my best to try to remember to get some pics of the cured bud fer y'all.
In the second pic, I was tryin to show where a section of the plant had apparently been partially severed during growth and was now COMPLETELY dry. Weighed in @ almost a 1/4 o (pic 5)
I only took a few pics, cause they take so long to upload, and come out shitty anyways!
The last 2 pics are of the total weigh in. My scale tops out @ 200 grams, so I had to weigh in 2 parts
