How to get 2oz from 1 plant?

This is a bit of a openless question but i would like to get a rough idea, my plan is to yeild 2 oz from 1 plant, (in soil, 19/5 got 2 bulbs 1 x 20watt 1 x 25watt equiv to 225watts, rele big pot 5 weeks old,) my question is what sort of height would i need to get to in the veg stage to achieve this?? (( i no its only a rough guide but was hoping some 1 could relate/ have experience)

I seriously doubt you can get that much with just 2 CFL bulbs. Throw in a few more bulbs, and veg longer.

Its not about height, its about bud sites and nutients and light and air and genitics and all that good stuff.

With your set up, you are going to need way way more light. You could get a 150w HPS and it would be like the sun compared to your "225 equiv"

Yer it does need more light i agree ive tryed eveywhere to get higher wattage cfls but the highest ive come across is 25watt, unless i order online which i dont want to do,, it does get some real sunlight when the weathers good, hmm so i need to upgrade my lights,, hmmm.

Well, just buy a couple of those 25 watters then. Or, if you have the money, go for HPS.

No, 350 watts equivalent of CFL's are not the same as say 350 watts of HID.

It's not even the same as 150 watts of HID.

You are going to need A LOT of CFL's to pull off 2 ozs.

Right ive added another bulb at current ive got... 1 x 14watt 1 x 20watt 1 x 25 watt = 59watts total equiv to 300watts, 1 plant and a lot of reflection all around,, with the odd day in the sun,, what would be a realistic amount i could yeild, ?

im growing under a 150 w hps lamp that i bought for 80 bucks. The light is sweet. If you are growing a small garden the 150w hps is the choice to go. Im 3 weeks into flowering and im looking to get at least 2 oz so do the research and you will have a beautifull grow.

your comparing apples to oranges bros. 25 watts CFL is not equal to 100 wtts HID, it's equivalent to an ordinary incandescent light bulb. To equal say a 150 watt HPS light you'd need 10 25 watt bulbs and you'd get less yield still.

Yer im using bio grow nutes, dam so what im goin to yeild isnt goin to be much from the lights i have,, im not goin to be able to get any more lights now, maybe on my next grow ill get 150hps, any ideas of what i might be able to yeild from, 1 x 14watt 1 x 20 watt 1 x 25 watt cfl bulbs?

goto home depot or lowes or whatever store like that you have around and they have 75 to 150 watt hps pr metal hilide outdoor light fixtures, for reasonable cost, they can be easily adapted for any grow box or area. Cfl's are good for starting plants and maybe a little veg but not strong enough for flower you will still get something but nothing like hid lights
