Alright so, my thai super skunk plant is apparently going for a full fledged re-root. I'm not really too concerned because its got like 10 more weeks left anyway.

I also think thats why my whiteberry hasn't grown much, its been trying to re-root itself.

Fucking root rot... shit probably cut my harvest in half...

And here is a picture of my 'little girl' that I got from my buddy, just a random bagseed in soil he 12/12'd from seed, I will probably only get like 6-7 grams off her when she is done but it will be some dank...

Yea no doubt, It will just not yield as much as it could have, none of my plants are dying anymore they are just recovering.

I wish I noticed root rot earlier on, before I put these into flower

Alright so.. I am really impressed with the root growth I am getting in this aero setup, here are the same roots I posted a pic of yesterday...

Whiteberry is getting close to done now, a bit earlier than I had expected...

Blue cheese is really starting to fill out now also.

Thanks guys, I have one plant that is about 2 weeks into flowering in the aero tub, its a 12/12 from seed but the bud quality will be apparent =]

I had to chop my whiteberry plant. I was inspecting it being the careless stoner that I am broke off the roots that were growing outside the net (forgot there was another one outside of the AG net) She was about 30-70 amber/cloudy

Will probably have 2 grams or so of wb, if I hadn't killed it I probably would have gotten another .5 gram, nothing to really worry about.

I was also able to move my lights down about 6 inches now that the whiteberry is gone, so the blue cheese buds are getting nice and dense, looks like some of the branches are starting to struggle to hold up all of the weight.

When the blue cheese finishes, I will be drilling 2 more holes in the tub and throwing 12/12 from seed females in the new holes + blue cheese spot.


Yeah so my friend dropped the bagseed plant off at another friends to finish it off the last week because he needed to get it out of his house and his buddy has a 150w HPS. He had been telling him to take off the fan leaves early on once it started budding. I was like dude, NO the plant needs them they act like solar panels... So yea I went to check it out yesterday and he pulled ALL of the fanleaves that weren't inside buds..

That is a HARVEST step...

And then on top of that, he plucked out some of the most mature seeds on the plant... I was really looking forward to them but I doubt the ones in there will be ready when we chop it now.

That pissed me off so much because my friend specifically said he was just going to leave it alone.

It just has buds on it pretty much, all of the light it can absorb has to be through the trichomes.

They are probably going to let it go for an extra week, I was planning on chopping it saturday, so I guess in the end it wont really matter though, just sucks about the seeds.

haha i kno how you feel man, that outdoor plant me and my homie had going, the mother fucer did the same exact thing, watched some youtube video, and cut off all the fan leaves. that plant was so beatufiul, havnt seen it in like two weeks, but i spoke to him yesterday and he said she looks great. which im sure she does, but it was all unnessary, haha they just wanna do somthing to help, but it dosnt help shit haha.


everything sounds good man, keep us posted, i would be piseed about the seeds to, to me, every seed is a possible plant, and why waste that you kno, i would have lost it haha, i almost went crazy when i almost lost some of these chronic seeds i have got haha

Haha yeah its kinda ridiculous what people will do just based on some random BS they hear from someone or see on fucking youtube. And I agree with the others, it will be sweet to see how some new plants turn out in your aero setup from beggining to end. I really dig that aero setup man. I've been checking out some other flouro grow lights and came across a 24in dual T5 light w/ balast and reflective hood, providing 5000 lumens per bulb at 55W (I think it was 55W anyway), and for only $69! Theres a link to the website that sells it in my grow journal in one of my more recent posts if you wanna check it out. I'm just looking at all my damn CFLs and thinking that something like that would be sweet.

I got a dutch passion blueberry clone from a buddy of mine that I am rooting right now.

Will be my first complete grow from start to end in the aero, it probably wont finish before I have to move out, but it will get a good 11+ weeks from now.

I also have 2 seedlings from my soil project in my aero setup now.

They will probably get stretchy since the lights are so high up, but thats fine, I will eventually lower them when my blue cheese finishes, I think I am going to put the thai super skunk in soil because its getting annoyingly large and too tall for my setup.

Alright so.. haven't posted a full update in a while so here it is...


Blue cheese has about 4-5 weeks left.

When you pinch the nugs this awesome blueberry muffin smell comes out.. its so delicious smelling....

Thai super skunk I have no clue, but probably 10 weeks.

Random bagseed female that I have been flowering in my aero, really happy with how she has been doing in the aero.

White berry is no longer alive in any form :/

Hope so, I think I'm losing most of my fan leaves to root rot, so.. I might have to chop the blue cheese early. Right now at the rate it has been killing fan leaves I will need to chop in 2 weeks or so, meaning they only got 6-7.5 weeks. Hopefully I am wrong and it will finish all the way.

It hit me last night.

My veins are turning brown first then the leaves are dying.

The veins and the roots are almost on the same support level.

Roots are dying and rotting away, which is drying up the veins on my fanleaves.. All of the buds are fine though. (the actual buds)

side note: Nobody ever seems interested when I post these huge full updates, lol I get 5-6 replies when I post single pictures throughout the week, lol.

just been slow lately, you usually help out the beginners, then they never come back haha, but its all good, the morepeople growing, the better.

My power outage i think at like 5 weeks flowering really fuc'd me on harvest, i might still get 2 ounces, but shit it couold have been more. My fro berry got screwed for most of it, the OGK pushed right through, but once i get my next grow together, im shooting for a big yeild, all bubba Kush. Keep us posted man, im sure they will do fine, but like me, gonna be a killer grow the next time round

Yea man, I lost about 3/4 of my crop to root rot.

I move into my new place in august.

Going to have a completely empty 8'x10' walk in storage closet.


Nothing but aero now.



Also, I just found out my entire thai super skunk plant has been doomed from like week 2, I had my ag pump on 24/7 when it was in there and the roots just rotted straight from the stem, it was able to grow new roots but after a few days they would just die because the higher tier roots were fucked.

I chopped off 4 of the biggest colas threw 3 into the aero and the other 3 into soil cups.

I'm hoping they will at least root so I can finish them.. idc how much they actually yield.

I only wish I had just taken all of the secondaries and used them as clones as soon as they showed sex..

Hindsight is always 20/20 though.

Soooo... is having the AG pump on 24/7 not recommended in order to prevent root rot? Mine is currently on 24/7, has been since seed. Reading your journal has me spooked about root rot.
