Thx Liebe. I used Subcools base "Supersoil" and added a few things to it. Im going to try to buy pots tomorrow, make my soil mix, and fill the pots. THe plants are all doing great even with this inconsistent overcast weather. Thx for stopping by.

Thx Hodge. I am in the process of mixing up a batch of ferts tonight for tomorrows feeding. Hope I can get the EC down to acceptable levels with 1 tea / gal water. I was using TDS PPM levels as per the box of GH Maxi nutes but I think I should be using EC. THe only one that looks like it wants more is the WCD clones. They are a little lighter green than the rest. They are also the biggest non-flowering plants in this grow.

Do you use the "Acid" Maxsea ferts? I was thinking of using them like GH Koolbloom, during the last 2 weeks of flowering just before the flush.

Ive used GrowMore 20-20-20 ferts for the orchids but usually use GrowMore 30-10-10. Those bastards quadrupled the price for a 25 lb bag so Im looking for a different fert for the orchids.

I think once I transplant to the pots with the new soil they will take off. Of course that is also dependent on mother nature giving me some sun to use <taps foot>.

Seedlings are 1 month old yesterday.

I went out today and was putting the plants in an area where there is good sun most of the day and I noticed what appeared to be nute burn on only 2 out of 21 plants. I couldnt figure that out since out of 6 of the same type only 2 were looking burnt. One plant had it on 2-3 leaves and the other plant had it on 2 leaves (pic 249-254). The leaves were not curled down or anything and the nute solution used was a week ago tomorrow with one watering in between. Some of them were looking thirsty today so I just gave them water. Will give nutes on thurs.

I also noticed some spots (pic 255) on the leaves which looked suspicious. I got out my hand lense and +2.5 glasses and I found these little green bugs (edit: I found out what they are http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG/S/I-TS-SCIR-NM.012.html) [baby thrips]. They are longer than wider and could be baby mites but they sure dont look like any mites Ive seen. Im going to try some Neem oil on them and hope that kills the little bastards.

I was going to start the maxsea tomorrow but I think I will go with 1/2 tea to start instead of the 1 tea. I will have to see what EC or ppm that is but I dont want to get into a yoyo effect with the nute/burn cycle. I started the seedlings off at 400 ppm (1/4 tea/gal) 2 weeks ago and tried 885 ppm (3/4 tea/gal) last week. I dont think it is nute burn. Maybe lockout but I havent fertilized that much. Puzzling

at this point, i really wouldn't worry about it. i don't anyways. mine always seem to grow out of those things.

just stoppin by followin ur thread things look like theyre goin well for u and strong. just got bak in town a lil disapointed with the overcast weather but should pik up next week

I think you are right. Even if they are thrips they are not doing alot of damage. At first glance I thought it may be nute related but after seeing it on only a couple of plants and not so extensive I am ok. I will apply some neem oil tomorrow early to control the thrips in preparation for transplanting into bigger pots.

Ok well the seedlings were doing some funky shit with the lower leaves so I flushed them last week Wed. I left them alone until today when they were dry so I watered and fertilized. They were looking good again.

I was busy with some personal stuff and havent gotten the bigger pots. I need to transplant into bigger pots. Most the plants are almost 1 foot. Im supprised since the past 3-4 days it has been overcast all day. I will mix the soil tomorrow and take some pics of that action.

Went to the store and bought some 20 gal pots for the seedlings. I took the soil and ammendments I bought earlier and mixed up the recipe on the post #2. I layed visqueene down and emptied 2 bags of compost them layered in some ammendments them more compost them more ammendments, etc. Once I had all the ingredients I started shoveling the pile from one side of the plastic sheet to the other. I made sure all the goodies were mixed well and most of the chunks were broken up. That was hard work!.

I filled the 20 gal pots about 1/2 full with the modified supersoil. The other part of the pots will be filled with potting soil and compost mixed with the supersoil as a diluted step up to the hot supersoil. Don't want to burn the plants. I will finish the new pots up tomorrow and transplant the plants into their new pots.

Took some pics of the plants so you can see how much they have out grown their small pots. I think they wil like their new homes. I will post pics of the newly planted plants tomorrow.
