Wow, congrats! Love the house, and how ya'll have everything set up!!! Very cute bungalow! Wish I were there to crack a bottle of champagne to celebrate, as well as smoke a doob with ya'll!

I know buying a home is hella exciting. Do you have the $8,000 tax incentive where you're at for first time home buyers?

Your home sold for $290,000? You would be AMAZED at what you can get in Texas for $290,000. You could pretty much live in a baby mansion. No joke. Check it out... this is not my house. This is just one listed for sale at that price in my area. I think it has to do with cost of living though... like y'all probably make more in your area, but have to spend more in order to live there... and here it cost less to live, but we make less. Like, my household income is pretty decent, but there is no way I could afford a $290,000 house because the way the economy is here.

Regardless, comparing is kind of neat... check it out...

Pretty interesting stuff.

Anyway, now you can grow in peace without a nosy landlord, and that is all that matters. You got your space, peace, and privacy. Party it up!

3.95%? Damnnnn, that's stellar!

Did you get them to pay closing cost? I am trying to purchase a home myself, but we are working with a short sale situation and we are trying to get them to pay closing cost.

We were suppose to hear from them yesterday, but our realtor said when you deal with big banks, they can sometimes take awhile. Ughhh.. so frustrating!
