I want to try them as well but can't afford to right now. They have an advertisement in High Times and apparently one of the founders of the Advanced nutrients company is a canadian medical Marijuana patient. So when they say "made for the types of plants you grow" it of course means these nutrients are engineered specifically for growing The KILL.

Have you seen thier nutrient calculator on advancednutrients.com? You can punch in the size of your reservoir or watering device and it tells you exactly how much of what to use. You can see a feeding chart for all phases of growth seperately. Choose which base nutrient you would use and voila. Of course they show you all the products they have that you could use on these charts but you don't have to use them all. Check out youtube User Urbangrower and hydroponicsecrets there you can get tons of info, not to mention sweet ass medicinal grows on urbangrower's videos.:peace::joint:

I have tried both and prefer fox farm. I find FF is just as good and alot cheaper and more forgiving. It is hard to burn or over nute with fox farm as its such a simple nute mix and just doesnt burn. The adnavced are nice but complicated exspensive and very unforgiving

im not using hydro ethier and i feel advanced is more for hydro. im a soil man myself because i think soil is way more forgiving and you cant hurt your plants as quickly as you can in hydro.

Im the opposite from that. i find hydro is so much simpler and forgiving and way easier to correct any issue that comes up. Soil is so hard to control or correct compared to hydro. I have used both nutes in hydro but fox farm in both sopil and hydro/aero

While FF have great products, and like homeboy said its a bit more forgiving... you get what you put into your babies... if you can get it done with advanced you will not be disapointed... and if u are, they have a 100% money back gaurantee on all products... I personally use their organic products and they work fantanstic...

I seen a huge difference with advanced nutrients compared to the fox farm, i used last gro......i mean the roots are proly double the size, like cable thick and just completely fills the container....this is in a bubbleponic system.....it is a bit more expensive at least the additives are and i think they are very easy to work with.....i was kinda nervous at first but it seemd to be easier than the fox farm....the advanced dont really mess with the ph at all, which is nice.... the root mass is just crazy!!

Yea I use advanced in soiless mixtures (mostly coco and spaghnum moss) and it is not complicated at all. Someone else mentioned the nute calc. Here is the link. http://www.advancednutrients.com/nutcalc3public/ It is very useful and you don't need all the things on that list by any means. Whatever you have just follow the dosages for that week. I use "medium feeding" levels for just about every strain I've grown and it works great. I use the Sensi 2 part, Big Bud, Overdrive, and Barricade. And for some reason I always get static for saying this but you can replace the Overdrive(1-5-4) with Ionic Boost(0-5-6) and it works great for a lot less money.

the urbangrower is the shit. he knows his stuff and claims you will get 2 pounds per light using the advanced nutes
he has beautiful plants. but I am still a fox farm guy I been useing them for around 6 years and just cant get myself to change
I got fox farm dialed in and get great results with them and without the extremly high cost of advanced nutes

well they better give 2 pounds per plant to make up for the ridiculous prices. Thats what turned me off. I can get either FF or botanicare for way cheaper and probably get some amazing results.

Fox Farm to me cant be beat. Figure for the 3 qt bottles you spend only little under $40 and for most small growers thats like 2-3 crops and for under $115 you can get a gallon of each and be on your way. The results are excellent, very forgiving and easy to get them anywhere.

AN has a lot of marketing gimmicks, just be careful buying a lot of that extra stuff they sell that is actually nothing but a $50 bottle of water. And if you have to use all that berry sweet crap to get your buds to not taste like shit, well than I suggest switching nutes.

At least I know Fox Farms is a legit company, been around for awhile, and they don't have a lot of unnecessary products aimed towards noob growers. They are trusted amongst the cannabis community... Not saying AN is not a legit company, but I can see when phony products are being released to try to boost profits.

Beery sweet and citrus from botinicare has nothing to do with the taste. Its a solutions that helps reduce stress and helps in photosysnthesis which gives you more resin production and can at times add a bit of aroma to enhance the natural buds aroma. Not a thing to do with taste. You cant modify the natural taste other then by flushing or not flushing

Anyways if you have to buy SENSIZYM or NIRVANA or BUD CANDY its because AN purposely leaves shit out of their main product line so you have to spend more on this bullshit products. Sorry if you enjoy blowing tons of money, I dont.

Oh and here is proof of what I mean....a description full of big words that really means and tells you nothing. Botanicare is great at selling bs products with stupid descriptions.

Liquid Karma
The introduction of LIQUID KARMA ™ represents a major and significant breakthrough in plant nutrition. This is because LIQUID KARMA ™ contains a full complement of metabolically active organic compounds not found in regular plant foods or supplements. These unique compounds are absorbed immediately and act as regulatory signals, activators or catalysts to produce synchronized and accelerated growth under all conditions. LIQUID KARMA ™ functions as a growth engine because its high metabolic activity produces a large amount of energy which is immediately transformed to growth.
