seedling to vegetative?

Hey all, I am growing 8 seedlings of church and arjanz haze #2. 13 days old and were stressed at first from stretching and pH imbalance but on a good track now in deep water culture. How do i know when a small little plant is considered to be in vegetative state vs. seedling stage so I can raise the nutrient level or start doing a 24 hour timer as well... first grow so do not know

Pics would help but ready2inhale sounds right.

I just moved some white widow seedlings that are about 5 inches tall and they are doing fine with regular nutrient solution.

Trial and error the best teacher

good luck

^yup...say your second node from the top has 5 finger leafs, then the newest growing node has 7 finger leafs...this means your plant is possibly still in the seedling stage if the next node has 9 finger leafs...but if it stays at 7 finger leafs after that then its officially in the veg stage...comprende?

i think so. im more visual person but i don't have any pics except of my young ones in a dwc system. i'll post it if your curious though, just gotta take some new pictures. im just hoping they start getting back on track, the pH was way to high when they were transplanted so it took me a day or two to notice that

i have a very curious mind...i think everyone that grows our sacred plant does...
here you go. they are 13 days old but they were just transplanted from soil and the stretching wasn't so bad cause it made them pop out perfectly over the hydroton. fixed pH and now they are in tune with the growing chi : )

i really wanna know about this church.i read that has a social effect.good luck!
i think i will use this as my temporary grow journal in the time being. I feel as though the church is growing really well compared to the others, and there is one plant right in the center that has just survived like a trooper and will most likely be the mother for now on in the near future. i'll take pictures in the next few days and let all know. system seems to finally be regulated, so i'll take a picture of the root system once its really going and will keep track of growth.

any good additives that will promote rapid growth and aid in short internodal spacing??

internode spacing comes from genetics & distance of light from canopy
and the kind of light of course.my previous grow was fucked up cos i used an hps for veg and the plants streched so much that finally i couldnt save them.so i use a mh right now and they stay bushy.
