FIM is what happens when you top and don't do it "cleanly" Check HERE for the full rundown. Essentially you top but don't get ALL of the apical meristem (i remember that word from Biology for Non Science Majors ) So instead of it splitting off into TWO main colas, you get two colas and then a little something. That link will answer ALL of your questions. Growman really knows his shit, and is usually around to answer questions. He just got done with a big outdoor harvest recently though... and has been a little spotty, but plenty of other posters there to help you out. Hope that answers some questions..
