Hey chaps.
First off, sorry for going over ground time and time again. I hope its not too annoying but I guess this is Newbie Central! So I hope I dont get too much stick.
Seeds germinated, saw some white root poking through the seed so planted them both into some indoor compost soil. One seed has been in the soil for 3 days and the other has been there for 2 days. However, as of yet Ive not seen it shoot above the soil yet. Someone mentioned that they should shoot up within 1-2 days. Ive keep them inside and under a 1500lumens CFL (another bulb to arrive). The temperature is normal room temperature and humidity is regular room humidity. Ive put quite a lot of water in the soil and kept them very moist.
I left them this morning (GMT time zone) on my window ledge as its going to be very sunny.
I also poked around a bit early this morning and uncovered some soil to expose the seed and it does appear that the root has definitely got bigger. It just seems that its growing very slowly. Is this because of the relatively low temps and low humidity? My soil isnt very compact, its quite loose.
I was thinking about sticking something on top of the pot to speed up the growth and maybe trap in some humidity but not sure if I should or not. Im not bothered about it taking a bit of time, I just dont want to rot my seeds or let them die.
The strain is Amnesia Lemon (feminised) if that makes a difference.
Thanks in advance.
