the scariest encounter i guess you would call i had - when i was 11, it was in the morning and the middle of summer, i went down to our dock with my 2 dogs and was throwing a stick into the lake for them to fetch and grab. then about 5 minutes into this little fetch game we had going i looked across the lake and above the othersides treetops was a greyish disc moving slowly to the left, i watched it for about 30 seconds as it sorta blinked from the whitest light, to grey, then invisible and it did this rotation the whole time i was watching it (the distance to the opposite side of the lake was a little over a 1/2mile so i couldnt really judge its size then).... after about 30 seconds it flashed one more time then disappeared at about the same time my 2 golden retrievers went nuts they barked hysterically and the hair along their spine rose, then it reappeared and started flying towards our beach very very swiftly and silently I fuckin took off runnin scared as piss back up towards the house. My dogs followed right along side of me each really close, one on each side of me which is weird as usually they run ahead of me and im the one trying to catch to them, anyways we were about half up the hill to my house, i was flipping out running as fast as i could but i was too scared to look up about then a cylindrical shadow stopped over us for only a couple seconds. i was still only looking at the ground the whole time too scared to look up but for a split second during the time it was over us everything was dead silent and i dont know if i was in shock because i didnt hear anything, not my feet running, or my dogs next to me, but then as soon as whatever it was that was over us was gone and that was it.. i was cautious about going outside for a couple weeks afterwards. it was a very traumatizing event in my life.
considering i have seen other odd things as well after that but not to that effect, i guess the only other mentionable thing is when me and my older sister( i was 12 and my sister 15) were on our porch waiting for my mom to come home from work so we could go out to eat at a diner, anyways our front yard extends about 200 ft out infront of our house then its thick woods. well we were sitting there and i happend to notice a glowing ball of light hovering about 2 ft of the ground from what i could tell, the ball of light was about the size of a soccer ball and it was moving silently thru the woods towards us and then when it came to the clearing and our yard it stopped for a moment then slowly went back into the woods went outta sight, the whole event lasted about 2 minutes my sister and i both saw but the feeling it gave me was not one of fear as the previous encounter down at the lake did, instead it was almost a wonderful peaceful trance. my sister shared the same thoughts she said she didnt feel scared at all either at the sight rather as she put it was like a warm protected feeling.
believe it or not i dont really care, but i do know what i saw and felt, thats what matters
