Goin on a mission

myself and another patient are planning on a trip to find clones......my goal is to find a few strains that i want, (jack herer, sour diezel, chem d and a few others) and turn them into mothers, then clone off of those for my sog system. anybody done this. is it a fuctional idea. or will the clones not produce quality mothers?

also basically the same question, if i clone off my super skunk plants can i get a mother, they are currently in veg

From what i've read that is how plant genetics is carried on by turning clones into mothers so you shouldnt have a problem doing that!

people use clones as mothers all the time, there should be no problems....

yes , you can do it but you might not have enough time to mature all the plants...... cuz every time you clone a plant it goes in shock for 3-4 day trying to fix the cut.... your other option is to let your first clones grow big enough till it does not go into shock but then you will have 1 big clone and lots of little baby clones..

I went to 3 different spots yesterday to get clones and got 1 UK Cheese
So the 1st spot i go to has about 30 clones and they r all unhealthy but they have Casey Jones so I ask him about the finishing height, flower time ect and he says i dont know. What??? Ok no thanks.

2nd spot advertising blackberry kush mini mothers, so i get there and they have 2 leaves and a stick as clones, no roots, no node just 2 leaves and the stem, ok no thanks.

3rd spot- This is where i picked up 1 cheese clone, all the others were horrid. But so i am asking the guy same questions, blah blah. And of course he doesnt know anything except who he bought them from. Then he asks me how long he should flower the sour diesel he bought, how tall it would be and how much yield is he going to get outside. OK ur the one selling the clones shouldn't u know the answers to these questions.

So my mission was 36 clones and I got 1. Sorry for the rant but come on!

u aint lying and i normally do it myself but im adding new strains so was looking to speed it up but im back to ordering seeds oh well at least i know my genetics are good that way
