I just want to know what things could be done to make sure you have rock hard buds instead of soft, fluffy like buds other then not having enough light.thanks allbongsmilie

I'd make sure you get enough light and see if that does the trick. I think light is the key to bud density.

Light and genes. Some bud just grows airy and some rock hard. But a rock hard with out enough light will not be solid.

cal and mag are bud hardeners. suplement with cal/mag every res change up to harvest.

I think Molasses helps a bit too, can also use Humbolt county Gravity. Great shit!!!!!!!!!

It should. But its not going to be a single item that does it. Temps and lighting are key.
i disagree. use cal/mag for one plant, don't for the rest. simple supplement. i guarantee the cal/mag buds will surprise you, while the others don't meet your expectations.

weight and size is one thing; density is another. light is a given. ;)

Rock hard buds come from the genes. Light, temp, and soil contribute to the success of the grow.

The more Indica dominant the strain, the harder the buds.

that is totally not true, but a mere generality. i can give you a sativa bud that is hard as a rock. you can see all the way through it, but you can't crush it. naturally indicas are a denser flower, but that doesn't necessarily mean hard.

rock hard buds come from adequate light, proper temperatures, the right fertilizers, AND genetics. you can have the best genes in the world but without a good grow environment you're just going to produce fluffy swagish style buds.

some micros are termed "bud hardeners" for a reason.

I'll agree on points. Did a few runs, all from the same mother. First round was airy buds. After that (next round) when I added lights and dropped temps, they tightened up. Go its far from *just genetics*

(the airy buds still gave a great high, just lacked the 'bag appeal' Also dried quicker; obviously)

would a light mover help me get more light or does that just increase how many plants be grown under it? and i will try and get my room cold when the lights are off this time.

A light mover would allow you to get your plants closer to your light, better coverage/penetration. As well as expanding the lights footprint, which could allow for more or larger plants.:bigjoint:
