help plant needs care while im away

help, im leaving in a week and my seedling needs water. I cant trust anybody to water it for me and i cant leave it outside to get rain because something will eat it. What can i do to keep the soil moist while im away?

u need
water in a resivor
a pump with a timer
set the timer to come on for however long u want it to.

Saturate the new pot.

It will take your seedling + evaporation at least the week to deplete all the water.

That would let you wait longer in between waterings.

Let's say My seedling has roots poking out of a 12 ounce cup, transplant to a gallon pot and you can let it go for a week or so without watering...
