Don't use equivalent watts people! It's just dumb, the product says the actual watts used right on the box, just go by that. The reti-glo 2.0 is what I've used and it did seem to increase, not the amount of bud, but the potency. Even if this product's benefits are argued, I can guarantee it won't hurt them anyways, they seem to enjoy it. The plant has used UV for millions of years so I chose to use UV bulbs in my grow and achieve great results. I think these guys are talking about the 42 watters, or the 100-130 watt 2700/6700 k lights you can purchase at the hydroponic store. They can plug right into the wall, but sometimes you might need to assemble the ballest, it's super easy but they should have pre-assembled ones too. These bigger lights get pretty hot, but get some serious results, and can be cooled with one fan directly on it. I use one 130 watt, 1- 42 watt, 1- 26 watt reptiglo, @ only 198 watts i'm expecting at least an oz of each small plant. Also the guy who says you cant use the repti-glo for flowering because it's 6700k doesn't know what he's talking about. You can use a mix of 2700 and 6700k lights when growing, just make sure you have mostly the lower K for flowering and more higher (5000 - 6700 K) for veg. In fact a good mix of light frequencies, example the repti-glo, or different lights with added red or blue probably help the plant overall feel like it's getting natural conditions.
