Well I just want them more bush than tree and topping seems to give me that desired result but you think I should hold off?

never seen a outdoor scrog before, but i did get the idea last time i was out in the woods before reading this. I was walking out to my plot, taking a new route and stumbled across an old roll-away bed frame. instant screen. and it would also help camo the plant from the sky.

maybe i'll give it a shot once my clones root. :blsmoke:

you saw fdd's pictures on the pages before of his scrog tho yea? shits so nuts! I decided against doing a scrog tho for this grow because it'd just make it harder to water once they started bulking up. just gonna go with traditional methods like supercropping, fimming and/or topping to get similar results to a scrog. still scribe though. it'll be good :weed:

took a couple new pics today after the an epic battle I had with this nest of fire ants that are right next to my girls. it was hard to step around the outside of my plants without ants bombarding my ankles and biting the shit out of me. I had tried boiling water and all kinds of shit from the kitchen and nothing really worked so I bought some Boric Acid and dumped it all over the little fuckers. the ground was alive after I did that, kinda creepy cuz I was pretty toasted from a hash bowl bongsmilie so hopefully that kills enough that the rest will relocate or something. but here's the pictures :eyesmoke: one week yesterday in their new homes

lol what're instant grits? is it food?

hahaaaa damn i forget about the cultural differences here in the U.S.

grits are food, it's like coarsely ground corn that is served hot like a porridge. it's a southern thing, and I grew up eating them. melt in some sliced cheese and you're golden. but yea, instant grits are dehydrated so they can be made easily in the microwave. the ants take it back to the queen, and it expands inside her once eaten... killing her.
