9 square feet is more than enough to yield 2.2 pounds if you do DWC. A pound per plant in 5 gallon DWC buckets isn't unheard of, either. In fact, the Krusty bucket method (plus lights) was popping multiple football-sized colas per plant, each plant itself yielding about 2 pounds dry.
But thats still not 2.2lbs per sqm is it? Ive never done the math of my setup for yield per sqm and I dont think I would be getting near that and each of my plants is bigger than 1 sqm with fatass colas and im expecting about 1.5lbs per plant.

The 'official' Krusty Bucket method produces plants that use about 4 square feet each and produce multiple massive colas, each weighing about half a pound dry. I've seen 4 pounds per square meter, but those were also TALL plants that were given some extra veg time.

A Krusty Bucket is a just slightly differently-built DWC.

1lbs per plant is nothing special and is easily done but 2.2lbs per sqm is a big yield.

sometimes i wonder that other peole
are blinded by all the small fish in the
pound and aren't to concerned about
the big fish thats passing them right by.

Maybe if there were more growers like
you who invested so much into getting
bigger and better plants it may start a
chain reaction to a large scale

You just said 1lbs per plant is nothing special but 2.2lbs for 9 square feet is!. I could EASILY grow 1 plant per square foot. Thats 9 plants. At one pound each thats 9lbs! So tell me again how 2.2lbs for nine square feet is imressive?

not saying u cant, but it is hard as
plants would have to be massive in
hieght and width. M_Blaze grows trees
not plants and he can tell u a lb/plant
takes planing and know how.

quick question: have u ever had a pound a plant yourself?

just asking

You can get a pound from 1 plant in a 1 square foot area??? If you do then show me the pics coz if that was the case then I wouldnt need to use a whole room coz I could just use a small part of my closet to get the same yields lol

Seriously though do you understand what you said?

I have never grown a one pound plant ever... not really even close, but i never said i did. I have a 4 sq ft grow space and have never had a prob vegging 4 plants to 1 foot before switching to flowering. I was just wondering how a its easy to grow a one pound plant? If you can easily grow one pound on a plant how could you not get 2.2 lbs out of a square meter? I dunno, it just seems to me that growing a one pound plant, would be ALOT harder than growing 2.2lbs in 9sq ft. My biggest dry weight per plant was 120 grams. But im also only using cfl currently

I think i still dont understand what you said? i said i grow a plant per square foot. In my four sq ft box thats four plants. You said you can easily get a lb per plant. I'v never done that and didnt really know it was possible. I was just saying if you grow a lb plant, how many lb plants can you fit into a square meter? You obviously have more expirience than me, but i usually only get a dry QP per plant, 1lb per grow usually

but we not talking about plants per
square feet, rather a plant per
3.3ftsq=1m2 meaning for every
40inches u have a pound.

If you get 120g dry/plant using 4sq
feet and 4 plants witch is 8inches over a
meter your getting 120x4=480 or about
a lb per meter squared.
