Purple Kush??

So I have a good amount of these seeds that I got from an undisclosed source, and told me they were purple kush.. and I would like to know if anybody has had expirience with purple kush?? I already germinated one and has very fat and short leafs, and the nodes are growing nice and tight, can someone who has grown purple kush or kush in general confirm that they resemble this beautiful strain??

lol you cant just tell a strain by looking at a young plant like that.... &anyone who says they can is full of shit. Grow it out, if its indica, purple, and bomb, then you can call it purple kush all you want.

Well I got it from a trusted grower but like u said I guess ill have to wait and see! but If it is I have a shit load of seeds:mrgreen: It looks indica dominant because of those fat leafs but ill see the outcome ill be flowering early

Right now I'm growing Hindu Kush and G13. 2 completely different strains. At that age and size they both look like that. After a while, they should stay really short and squat. My G13's have shot up a lot faster. The kush plant is much more indica based. My G13 is more Sativa based. I'm not familiar with Purple Kush. My Hindu Kush is 99% Indica. It will stay short. If it just shoots up with a lot of vigor then I would say it's not a kush plant or it's male. Let it grow out like said and hey even if it isn't what you think it is then who cares at least you got some bud. they look like you will need to transplant soon to bigger pots. The roots like to get root bound in small pots, so be careful and keep your eyes on her. I moved mine into 5 Gallon pots so it has a ton of room to grow and stabalize itself. You'll notice that when it starts to get root bound the growth will really decline.

I thought kush was sativa dominant?? And thats an plant thats showing more indica traits. Don't come swinging at me cause maybe I'm wrong about kush being sativa. I know this cause I don't like sativas which is why i never grow any type of kush.

aint no damn thing called root bound man. There are 5 foot tall plants that yield a good amount in beer cups.

well its going on its fifth node and only 1.5" in height.. ive had other plants that were on there 5 node and were about 4 to 5 inches in height(if you count its first leaf set as a node)

So is PK indica or sativa I was under the impression it was indica??can someone clarify this

Um...Yes there is something called root bound. When you start to have so much root mass that it starts to kill itself it is root bound. There is a reason the most people grow in 3 Gallon and 5 Gallon pots. I'm not saying that you can't have a big plant in a small container but especially in soil roots like to travel to look for food. Getting Root bound is a definate problem people can run into. When a plant gets root bound the soil will not hold moisture and when you water you will see the water start to run out almost imediatly (in a sever case). Getting him to put the plants into larger containers will avoid a problem before it starts. The people with 5 foot plants in little cups are usually a lot more advanced growers not someone new to the game.

Well I plan to transplant preety soon.. and gonna flower like in 1 week or two,just dont have the height for a 3 foot plant so maybe ill top once and flower early and see if that will help with my height issues for now..until I could get a better and bigger seutp but thanks for all the input fellas

If its an actual PK you wont even see 2 feet....like I said I vegged for 2 months and then cut my lights ...its only 18 inches tall

During your 14 day transfer period it doesnt stretch like other strains do
