Whats good homies ? Quick question for anyone that can help me, starting out wit two plants of ak48 growing indoors, basement closet nice & cool year round as well as dark.How much and wht type of lighting should i use ? remember guys just two plants of ak48 closet size 6x5x2.thnks in advance

That depends on you cash.... if you use CFL's... lets say 4 X 26W on two Y splitters for veg...cool/daylight..(blue spect.) for veg....about $30.
For flower as much as you can buy in warm (red spect).. 46W+ t

T5's are better and cooler but about $120 for two blue and red bulbs about $20 each.. its all a matter of your bucks...

I agree, depends on funds. If you can afford it, I would run a small HPS 250-400 watt above the plants, and a T-5 CFL on each side of the plants to get the full spectrum needed for veg. This will cause rapid growth.

For two plants a T5 will work fine - all the way thru.
It is best to use different bulbs for veg and flowering (6500k/2700k)

This is two T5s and two T12 plant/aqarium full spect.. all for $80. used.
in a 22" x 20" x 5'....... the plants are at 4 wk ..4ft..

I got them used from a friend..but you can use just 5's and get two 120 new...
Look at HTG supplies in US...
They're used all through grow all you need is the red spect for t5's 20 each.. the t12 P/A is full spect.

can i use t5's 6400/3000 i see a good deal on the whole kit at HTG supply, can i use this through the whole process ?

If it has both bulbs yes..but bottom line is that HID is better... but if you can't do HPS ..etc T's are the best second.... they all hook in series .no million wires..
just good lights and very small..

See I'm using all... I have the CFL's for start/veg... The T's and I have a 430W hps..but too hot in summer... I'm not putting vents in shit..but in winter a fan is enough...
