Arrest Proof Yourself

I'm reading a book called Arrest Proof Yourself. It's written by a lawyer who is ex-cop/FBI. Here's an excerpt:

Guess what? The system needs you. It’s huge. It’s no small chore keeping
the jails filled; government employees at work; and those tax dollars, fines,
and court costs rolling in. The problem nowadays is that, in many cities,
serious crime is way down. The cops are great at arresting the really bad
guys, and state legislatures have passed stiff sentencing guidelines that put
felons away for decades. What you’ll never see, however, is a headline like
this: “Crime Down—Judges Laid Off, Cops Furloughed, Jails to Close.”

So what to do? If murderers, armed robbers, rapists, and drug dealers
are in short supply, the system fills itself with graffiti writers, jaywalkers,
petty drug users, drivers with suspended licenses, and clueless types who
mouth off to cops. The criminal justice system needs inmates to survive.
This bureaucratic imperative to make ever more arrests is never absent
from the decisions of cops and judges, and it’s never discussed.

It's some really interesting stuff.

He also mentions that a lot of new cars have a mic in them for things, like telling the radio what to play........I forget the name of it.........but if the gov has a search warrant, they can listen through the mic.

I heard that they can do that with your cell phone too, like not tapping them but actually just listening to you while its closed but still on.

Some fucked up shit...

they can tap your phone even when its turned off. the only way to stop them is to take the battery out of the phone.

I have before...the guy goes to the extreme...but it IS how to not get busted! Watch these vids.

Lol. You guys watched the matrix one too many times.
Look at the link that MediMary posted...not that Fox News is known for telling the truth, but not sure why they would make it up.

Although much of what this guy wrote in that excerpt is true, the previous statement is not quite. Yes crime is down...a little...but besides some mandatory sentencing for crimes committed with guns or with a gang...murders, rapists, and other violent offenders are on the revolving door system to make room for the non-violent mandatory sentencing...and to ensure that the violent crime continues.

Yes, that is 100% legit. A family friend that works for Boeing was telling me about that.

It's really not surprising. China and Russia can hack into our national electrical grid, and that should be more sophisticated than a cell phone.
