Hi everyone,
Started my first grow with seeds my friend gave me for free. my set up is 2 42 watt cfls over the top of the plants and a 23 watt(I think) with reflector on the side and 13 watt in the middle. Im short on money and just trying to get as much light for my money. I germinated my 4 seeds on the 10th of June and 2 were ready for planting on the 11th and 2 for the 12th so two are are 8 days the other 2 are a week old. here are some pics of my setup go ahead and leave comments and advice i will take all comments on it.
like i said it is my first time and i am short on money.

Are my plants looking good for the 7-8 day mark?

Day 9 for the 2 plants in the front day 8 for the 2 in the back
I am clueless on the strain of marijuana these seeds are but the front left is growing very short and stalky and the other 3 are growing a little taller.

The seeds were pulled out of bud my friend was smoking. i doubt it will be something that high of quality but i doubt it will be mexican lol. your plants look like mine did at day 5-6

Day 11 the 2nd set of leaf is now formed.

Day 12, Not sure if plants are maturing correctly but there is now 3 42 watt bulbs and 1 23 watt. I just watered this morning with about 12-15 ounces of water.

Here is pictures of my 4 42 watt lights and how they are set up right above each plant. I have 4 other 42 watters in the same setup in my room i am going to use for flowering i thought i might as well just get them now.
It is day 14 for the front 2 and 13 for the back 2

the front left plants leaves are almost as long as the pot.

Nice dude lookin real good. Check out mine its porbably something for you to look forward to. I currently only have 2 cfls on my plant though. I guess i need to step my game up like you...I'm about 2 weeks ahead of you though I'm on week 5 right now. good work though and ill be sure to subscribe

Day 17! plants leaves are larger then the pots diameter! not sure when to transplant

Transplant when you can see roots coming out of the drainage holes. How big are those pots? It doesn't look like you're going to have anything to worry about for a little while.

Make sure to keep those CFL's pretty close to the tops as well.

All in all good job so far.
