Every nice tut bro, Even though i have never done this, it wont hurt to try i guess.. thanks +rep
The overwhelming majority of the seeds you get from those crosses will be autos. Only a small few will lack the autoflowering trait.hey Fdd, i got a question for ya, not sure if it's been answered yet...i'm a long time indoor grower but new to making my own seeds, i'm not interested in creating my own strain, but just producing a bunch of seeds that i can plant everywhere and give to friends...so, say i have 1 feminized white dwarf, 1 feminized easy ryder and 1 regular female diesel ryder, and i pollinate them with pollen from a diesel ryder male, will all those seeds be 100% auto?? i think so, right...i've just heard most folks say they'll be auto but some think that doin this with the feminized female may cause hermies...i don't really care, i just want a shit load of seeds that autoflower...thanks for any help...

awesome man...i'm gonna go for it...thanks alot! The overwhelming majority of the seeds you get from those crosses will be autos. Only a small few will lack the autoflowering trait.
good stuff, i'm gonna try that soon...what i'm trying this time is pollinating 2 feminized auto's with male pollen from diesel ryder...i hear the offspring will be fully auto but some could be hermies....i've heard both ways for about a week, don't make seed using feminized stock and it doesn't matter, go ahead and do it, so we'll see....i crossed automatic ak-47/hindu kush to a non auto strain and the resulting seeds grow normally and do not autoflower. the seeds are herm free and are perfectly healthy in all regards.
ok awesome...their stable so far, but too young to tell at this point...they popped outta the soil 2 days ago...i'll let ya know how they turn out...thanksyou should get no herms if the fems are stable and they should autoflower at least most of them.
How long can pollen be stored?
If you have a few males and want to select the best one to pollinate your females I have read that you disgard the first to show pollen sacks since they are closer akin to the wild hemp plants and will produce less potent plants and have a greater percentage of seeds that are males. Have you heard anything like this for male selection?mine lasts a couple months if i take the time and store it properly. maybe 6 months.
i just pick out the traits i want. each time it's different. If you have a few males and want to select the best one to pollinate your females I have read that you disgard the first to show pollen sacks since they are closer akin to the wild hemp plants and will produce less potent plants and have a greater percentage of seeds that are males. One of the males I have is lanky with wide internodal spacing so Im not very inclined to use it as I have better males, imo, with shorter nodal spacing and stronger branching. What other traits do you look for early and do you have to let the males get bigger to observe other traits?
Read the tutorial at the beginning of this thread. It explicitly instructs how to do what you just asked.Im thinking of maybe pollenating just a few of the lower buds of my strawberry pheno plant. Whats the best way to do this as i dont want to pollenate the rest of the plant and the other plants.
cheers will take a look but is it 100% fail proof i cant afford to pollenate the rest of my females. If it aint fail safe i wont do it.Read the tutorial at the beginning of this thread. It explicitly instructs how to do what you just asked.
