The number of post on rollitup not meaning a thing about experienced growers.

This does not include everybody of course. Im not talking about everyone that has a great number of posts that truly has helped people here. Just my initial experience to rollitup.

I just joined this group and here is my thoughts:

How many people agree with me about the number of post on rollitup not meaning a thing about experienced growers. It seems like kids are changing the subjects to video games just to get more post and make it look like they have cultivating experience when giving comments. I have been cultivating marijuana before there even was an internet and these kids challenge me with their experience behind the number of posts they have on roll it up.

Anyone else have this experience here?

i totally agree - i'm by no means a well experienced grower but i'm not a total nube either, though my posts may suggest so. few days ago i read a thing on here about how they should have a start up quiz or something to rate you instead of number of posts, seemed like a pretty sound idea.

kinda true......i have over 1000 posts and have 3 grows under my belt but i still feel like a noob in the end even though i have learned so very very much i still have 100x that to learn

I agree 100%! I just joined another forum and one of their most "experienced" posters is wrong @ least half of the time, and tried to rag on me!

i dont think u ever stop learning about growing, there is so much to learn if u truly want to be at 1 with ur plants. i am on my 3rd grow and althaught ive had good resuls i am NOWHERE NEAR EXPERIENCED, no of posts means nothing, saying that there are a fiew on here that realy kno their shit!!! peace TAFFO

i have alot of grow under my belt but wat make this site great you learn stuff from difrent people mistake newb make alot of mistake some i would never do but sometime there mistake might turn into a succes if you grow for 12 year the same way how would you know if you could grow better

My current grow started 6 months ago... but it is a perpetual harvest...

I have plants going in and coming out EVERY DAY!!!

Do you want to count how many harvests? then the number is right around 150...

But I am sure that is not a fair answer...

I didn't do 150 grows in 6 months...

It's just ONE grow, in perpetual motion... one oz at a time..

Of course there are always new products out there and always new things to hear and see. Thats why we are on this site to begin with...too discuss. However if you are someone who knows about a particular subject then you probably have seen peoples answers to questions that have completely wrong information and you can tell it from their lack of experience. Then they feel the only way to defend themself is to remark about the number of posts you have based upon your argument.

u have a valid point there, some people learn to grow their way and then stick with it, so they never make mistakes, good point!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree experimenting has it's merits...

But I should say that as a newb, ignoring experiments and following a time proven recipe to the "T" has allowed me to beat 1 gram per watt from day one...

A NEWB GETTING 1g/w... is not something you see where there is a whole lot of experimenting going on...

With that said...

Once a newb can get consistent results, experimenting may begin...

But in following a proven recipe, chances are the experimentation is over...

Chances are that in the last 12 years, people have perfected some methods to their limit... and sure limits can be pushed... but not often nor by everyone...

Just my thought though... I already established I'm a dumbass, so... don't listen too hard...
