I'm with you poplars. But why you takin what these people want to pay for weed to heart? Shit, if they want to pay 300 for an ounce that's there problem. You said it yourself it's cheaper to grow it so just grow it. That's the best way not to feed the system. This is one of those things that can't be changed easily. People want there drugs so they will basically pay whatever it takes.

I think its a question of location.. people dont just uproot there lives to run off to medical states.. prices in more remote areas fetch more..i think thats real apparent based on my experience.. and i dont believe prices are way overboard..like some1 said in here be4 ...do the work to grow a pound of dense hard goodness, and see if u want to sell your hard work for 185z or 3k for the elb..probably not.. after u thought u had 2 while they were budding selling for this crossed ur mind..but after the 10hours of clipping 3 months of work, and only 1 dry elb at finish most people will be right back up to making 4800 of the fruits off there labor. and any which way ive seen u complain about prices in almost every thread ive seen u poplars.... im sure u cant be too hurting for price brackets in nor cal...ive got a tissue for u..might be slightly used

That's great, but it's all economics. Supply and demand. No matter how bad the economy is people buy weed. There is always demand and the prices over recent years haven't changed much.

Always grow your own if you have that option. That way you can't bitch about prices because you're making money(if you want to). Just be compassionate and friendly, it isn't coke and there are no fiends. Just keep the business friendly.

I think good weed should cost $250-$280 a zip. 10 a g is a good deal if it's really good weed.

I disagree that people will just always buy despite the economy. I know many people who just REFUSE to pay those bogus prices.
My personal take is that people should just SHARE THE DAMN JOY. There should be no confusion in obtaining something so innocent.
I'd say that it has been in the past ten years that the prices have gone sky high. But then again, I never have really ever paid for it other than a few times in my life.
My take is that you should find a close network of friends who all grow and share openly clones, their harvest, etc.
Sorry, I can't stand this generation that really believes they have "coined" what good smoke is..and then have the audacity to charge an arm and a leg for it.

i was paying $20-30 an OZ; buying weight, of course [p, qp, ..etc], haha. now.. we are not only in a recession, but we are paying anywhere from 100-130 for an oz of some reg. i know it don't seem like a lot, but it's a drastic change for the same weed. for like almost a year now, our weed prices have went up. as soon as obama got elected, our shit got expensive. elections suck. true story.

In my youth I was caught with weed on several occasions. Each time my weed was dumped on the ground (where I could get it 10 minutes later).

They simply didn't want to do the paperwork. They were more interested in REAL crime. It has been reversed by MONEY. Now it is well worth the trouble and paperwork. We have only ourselves to blame......

grow me a pound of high grade indoor then come to me and sell it for 150 dollars an ounce. as much as i need. i will marry you.

Now you said there was a lot of dirt weed back in the day, and that is so. However, even now there is dirt weed, and it's not cheap anymore. The high priced stuff allows everything else to move up, except in quality.

I smoked tons of Columbian gold, and Jamaican red, and Maui Waui when i was growing up, and we all thought it was darn good stuff! And it was!! THC of Maui Waui was about 8%. Give me Maui Waui at 8% for 150 a z any day....
