Closet questions

I want to grow indoors in a big room closet that has had the sliding closet doors removed to open the room up.

A computer desk is taking up half of the closet and I wanted to block the other half off with sheets and set up a little grow space using the remaining half.

I'm only using a 150-watt HPS but it's a really good sunsystem one..but I have no need for ventilation. Can't afford c02. Just soil and light and nutrients and house fans...

My main question is, when I flower the plants during lights off, will the light from my computer or TV monitor through the sheets be of any concern?

Or maybe some early morning light peaking through part of my window?

Yes absoulutly.. any light from the "red" spectrum will screw your flowering period.... "red" light includes the sun, an incandescent light bulb, your TV, your PC monitor ( most likely)... *Sheets* arnt going to do it.. your going to want reflective material anyhow, i mean its not totally necessary but... I would close that closet right back up with a door thats light proof or some two way black and white poly and tent zippers.. you can line the entire closet with the white side of the black and white poly and at the entrence of the closet have it overlap and use "tent" zippers to close it up. Any red light sneaking in during your *lights out* period is going to fuck you and you will be wasteing your time

A big closet would be my dream.. i would be hooking up a 400W HPS on a light mover and diviiding that closet into 3 sections.. Completly line the closet with mylar and have a 12 or 24 plant drip or NFT system

\Red light is EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT for flowering. You want Warm white (also known as Soft white).

When you flower with 12 hours on and 12 hours off, those 12 hours off need to be completely dark. Having light leaking in will almost always cause your females to turn into hermies.

So I'm broke guys, seriously broke. I managed to get the light when I had a job...I can't buy anything more expensive than like 10 bucks, what could I use to seal the closet space?

What about thick blankets???

Bro get creative. :joint:

U can use anything you want to block light. Just make sure it blocks the light. Use duct tape to hang shit or use nails. Shove clothes under the cracks of the door if you have to. Just make sure you got some ventilation though whether its a tiny little pos fan inside your flowering cab or an actual duct takin hot air out.
