Yes, make sure you buy the storage solution, left unattended it will dry out (the electrode) and give you crazy readings, very important.

I use ro water and always ph it,the ph is too low like 3.5
the ph of RO water should not be that low. are you testing it before you add any nutes or anything in it? after the RO process is complete the ph is either at a perfect ph of 7 or it's much lower but much more susceptible to ph swings. next time you are mixing nuts try putting your nutes in before the ph up/down and see what the ph is

see the water i'm using is at water refill place for drinking water.jus thot that was the best.i may wait till i get the tester before i buy up or down ,hydro store down the street,,,but i always thot good jug drinking water was a dream to plants.i kinda thot it'd be a bit higher because you can taste the alkiline in the water making it 5 or higher.but better be safe than sorry.i have 54 plants depending on me to do the rite thing, lol.

I assumed with nutes added sorry, but 7.0 would be what the ph should be without nutes for RO but I would still keep the the ph between 6.0-6.5 max for optimum nutrient uptake. It is still good to monitor for the best results.

actually 7 is not bad, i nute every other watering, seeing i do blue family strains and nute intake has to be light even wen using or burnup.but thats the best ph tester i seen without spending 75. on up.i saw at discount hydro a RO system for a 189.00 and looked sweet.. where are these system hooked up a t ,,the faucet?i been tooting water for .30 a gallon... and wen adding up or down, is it done with a eye dropper/thanx guys,i jus want the bes conditions for my stuff.

i've been using RO water and in my experience it tends to make the soil slightly more base as times goes on.
it always measured from 6-7 normally.

other than that having fantastic results with my first crop. yield isn't too crazy but the potency is excellent!!

yeah, you'll definitely need some type of ph+/- sometime down the road.

ec/ppm meter too if you do hydro.

Yeah I want to buy an RO system myself I frik n hate going to the watermill deal and carrying jugs every res change.,it's 25 cents a gallon over here,& yeah I think you just hook 'em up to a water line under the sink if it's a small one.
