If you can get something to cover the soil then you are going to be able to kill the mold. Like panda and cut pieces to cover the soil with white side up, There are some sprays on the market, but I have not had luck with any of them. Had a mold attack and it went right into the buds and was left with nothing.
Another thing is, in the beggining did you alteaslt clean everything with a bleach solution? Clean means less possibilities to contaminate (I have been there so I know from hard knocks)
Is the room that you have them in damn, eg:basement?

What is your RH (relative Humidity) in your room also.

And is that tin foil that you have behind your ladies?

no i soaked the pots in water so the roots would have an easier time getting throgh......what is panda? yea basement...well it is a bomb shellter..there is some foil and sheet matel...is that no good? i wanted to paint but i think the fumes would stay to long.....should i put a heat lamp in there to dry up the pots?

ok, lets do this the easy way bro. go your local retail chain and get ya a inside outside temp plus humidity meter. That way you can see what the temp is and how humid it is in your room. These are cheap but help tons!!!

Get you a satin white paint, i see that you have brick in there. if you dont have anymore building materials then just use kills primer. its awesome!

if you do, put ya up some ply wood and build ya a box to gro in, my rule of thumb is.... I guess at how big i want the plants and add 2 feet. This way if your ladies stretch ya wont be growing out of the box.
Foil dosent really do much (learned from experience) using white paint is the cheapest and the simplest way.

You are worried about fumes, does your area have an intake for air?

Panda is a 4-6mil plastic sheeting that comes in rolls, others us mylar.... a very reflective material. Panda is white on one side and black on the other. Some build a frame for thier room and just use panda as thier walls. Pretty cool to see sometimes.

Did you soak the pots once and they are now drying out?

sorry for all the questions bro. :-?

its simple if you have mold in your soil...its to moist, to much humidity....so scrape the top soil, and replace it, and stop watering it so much!

The plants dont appear over watered, but I will bet your humidity is way to high. Basements are notorious for this, a dehumidifier is almost a requirement for growing in a basement. keep RH ~ %50, and mold will not grow.

ok i will get one og those meters...my room is wrap in black plastic i can swap that with panda that will be easy...yes i have a fresh air intake i think the fumes will still hang around....will the fumes hurt my babies? yes a soak them they r not dry they r moist...the room is light proof so i dont think i need to build a box when the plastic is closed it is a box i think i just need to tweek the in side a bit....hey someone told me foil sucks and i should take it out....it reflects light why is it bad?

no wories , go down to ur local hardware store and buy some safersoap its organic u can spray it directly on plants or mix it with neem oil. nomater witch way u go , be shure to spray everything even under leafs. powdery mold likes to hide on stems and leafs. if u have a microscope , i have a 100 power. look close at the mold,it should look like cotton fibers. if it dosent it may be calcium from ur water.

Something that has not been mentioned is the apparent lack of fresh air in your growspace. You must need more fresh air, its sounds damp and stale in there.:-( It might be all you need is some fresh moving air from somewhere
Also, a layer of sand will keep mold off the surface of your soil.
And i would just plant those jiffy pots if they're getting moldy. i used those once but i think there are more problems than solutions with those. Such as the mold. you obviously dont have room to put all those in bigger pots but...mold is bad bad news come flowering time.:wall: you cant let it take over in your growroom. Do what you have to NOW to get rid of it.

Hey bro, as far as the reflective material goes.. I see you have hanging tin foil? I take that as you maing due with what you got which rocks.. the grow box idea would be a good substitute, BUT if you would like to use the Mylar and get some cardboard you can make Mylar panels and hang them accordingly for your plants.. just make sure the piece of cardboard is big enough to cover the area you want, and cover it with mylar and BAM you got a mylar panel. I made a fe of these yesterday since I will be having to take a quick break from growing after my harvest and I needed to add more mylar but did not feel like wasting more thn I already had up just to take it down in a few months. Mylar is AWESOME and I highly reccomend it.

The plant in the first picture looks sad, maybe flush it out and not water it for a couple of days?

As far as the mold goes I have not had to deal with that yet so I have no first hand on that, goodluck bro I hope you fix up your girls. :leaf:

Read all the post bro, Nice that ya got a room and ya got the availability to do what ya want.

Dehumidifier will help bunches, first could of days you will have to empty it like crazy. you will see that you will be able to regulate when to water alot easier if your RH is at 50 like mentioned a few posts ago.

The Tin foil - It does reflect light but it reflects the light we see, not what the plant needs. Was the way the local hydro shop "genius" explained it to me. The color white reflects all light spectrum and black absorbs it. The closer you get to absolute white, then the closer you are to using all the light that you just purchased. The guy made me feel like I needed to actually pay attention in science class!!!

I think If you worry about moisture first, you will be rocking!! :blsmoke:bongsmilie

If you soak the pots that they are in then you wanting the water to go from inside out. I would water the inside till the outside is just wet enough. With water will start to brake down the pots and ya might have troubles moving them if they stay wet too long.

If you can take some of that black plastic or some of the tinfoil and cover the tops of the pots after you have decreased the moisture, I believe you will see a great decrease in mold.

Hope I have given some insight bro!!! Keep growing, next go round will be freakin awesome for ya!

If ya digwhat im syaing - ya mind giving me some REP?
