hey all, i finally got to take some pix of my babes. there names are antoinette, marsha, bubbie, lucinda, georgina, mamie.. mamie is the runt of the bunch, she is tiny and not growing well but there is not yellowing of leaves or anything so dont know..

please tell me how they look. since this is my first grow n i need other folks opinions.. thank ya very much..

lookin pretty on schedule. it is time to start them on some nutrients. for the veg cycle you need something with more nitrogen then the two main nutrients. you will see 3 numbers on the fertilizer bottle you want the first one to be the highest. for example my foxfarm veg nutes is 6-4-4 i think. you want to start them out on 1/4 strenght and build up with each watering until you can give them full strenght after a few waterings.

are you using cfl's?

they are looking good for a first shot. good luck man

first off im a woman..lol.. i am using a 150w hps cuz of heat issues i dont have great ventalation right now so i leave the closet door open so they dont bake with two fans goin. for my nutes i am using Grow More 21-7-7 i am using bout one fourth of the recommended usage. i gave them some last night n seemed to love it..

they look good..should grow well under the 150..maybe u can veg with that..while working on resolving heat/venting issues, and bump to a 400 or bigger for budding??

Nice, well they look good so far. Keep an eye out for hermies when you start flowering, just in case. A lot of times bag seed has weak genetics or hermie genes.

i was gonna get a 250w hps but like i said heat issues are a bitch right now.. they are doing ok with what im working with. i have a make shift grow closet for right now. i just deceided one day i wanted to grow weed then just started lil atta time.. i wanted to get a grow tent but i have not heard good things bout them.. do u know anything bout them??:mrgreen:

thanks for the info, never thought bout that. being a hermie..:-( i have some fem short rider beans from nirvana but wanted to try bagseeds first since imma noobie.. dont wanna mess up with the good ones..

If you have them in a closet with limited ventillation, it's going to be hard to put more wattage in there. As far as tents, I built my own with panda film, but you need a source of fresh cool air and a place to exhaust hot air if you're going to set one up.

thankx cat.. i love my plants, gotta have names for them they are like my children to me.. couldnt let my real kids go without names...lol...:mrgreen:

i was looking at some n ebay for decent prices n they come with holes so you can vent with em.. but i heard some smells in them tents are bad.. what do u think? :mrgreen:

Just make sure it's non toxic, some of the older cheap ones emitted fumes that killed plants.
