This is weird.
My seed successfully germinated and I carefully planted it about 1cm deep with the tap root pointing up as recommended.
I returned home to check on my baby to find that he tap root has grown up out of the soil and has begun to arch back into the soil. I thought that this is what it is supposed to do BUT under the surface. Is this normal? I had assumed that it was not supposed to break the surface.
Reading that light is not good for the root I sprinkled some soil over in the hope that things will be ok; that the root will grow back into the soil and flip the top of the plant up out of the surface as it is supposed to.
Slightly worried.
