1st grow, see its not so hard as long as you use brains. Looking nice, and yeah that joint you have there is crazy, I tried to do this once, there must be some kinda cure you need to do on the leaves?

I dried some fan leaves in a phone book until they were about as dry as a swisher then combined a few together like you would with zig zags.. and then voila it rolled into that masterpiece.

Tasted great!!

how is that cinnamon plant? does it live up to its name? do you know it genetics? and where did you get it from? I have never heard of that strain.

great looking plants man for any grower, let alone your first. awesome job.

how did you roll that cigar?

You can use a skewer. use a little honey or hash oil to get weed to stick to the skewer. wrap fan leaves around it to contain weed. Put it away for about 3 weeks to let everything dry and set up. Keep it in a container (rubber maid). Once it's nice and dry, take the skewer out and light up.

They're from seeds at www.goldenseed.co.uk, and so far the overall appearance/aroma of the plants match the descriptions on the website very closely. Seems like they have some really great genetics.

Here's a link to the Cinnamon and the others that are in my grow.

CINNAMON

This plant is for all sativa lovers, we chose one with a cinnamon smell and exceptional buzz. Goldenseed.nl Cinnamon is the most potent, with a racy long lasting high due to its Jack Herer influence. This strain, always good yielding and powerful even when the conditions are not ideal. You will find hard and tight buds somewhat unusual in this Sativa strain.

Effect: Powerful high and great special taste
Potency: 8 out of 10
Yield: 2/3 ounces
Stature: Tall Sativa pheno
Phenotype: Stable Sativa
Indoor: 55 to 65 days: Outdoor Mid October
Odor: Spicy & very high in quality

RED DIESEL

Red Diesel from Goldenseed.nl taste is super top notch. Red Diesel was bred to increase the weight and potency of New York City Diesel whilst maintaining its distinctive popular taste. This plant will grow to medium height with strong side branches of resin filled colas that need room to grow. Grow report: This was one of the many high points of this weed. Smooth and sour/tangerine taste. It is quite unique. The Smell of Red Diesel was the best smelling weed I have every smelt. Wonderful smell of sour Tangerines. Like a sour tropical candy. It looked very good as well. Sugar coated nuggets. Very nice looking stuff. The High is very intense and strong. One of my favorites and will always have a place in my garden. The Red Diesel is one of the best strains I have ever grown. Many props go out to Goldenseed for there stellar genetics. The yield of the plant when grown fully mature is very good 4-5 ounces . The Buds and smoke are top quality. I recommend this strain highly.

Genetics: Californian Indica x NYC Diesel
Effect: Proper slapping, speech impairment
Potency: 10 out of 10
Yield: 4/5 ounces
Stature: Tall / Sativa
Phenotype: Primarily Sativa
Indoor: 60 to 70 days/Mid October
Odor: Smooth smoke, distinctive diesel taste

Blueberry

This strain is a great plant very full appearance and great yeild! Goldenseeds Original Blueberry is a mostly Indica (80% Indica, 20% Sativa) strain, that dates to the late 1970’s. The smoke is sweet, fruity, very good tasting. A large producer under optimum conditions. A dense and stout plant with red, purple and finally blue hues, that usually cure to a lavender blue. The finished product has a very fruity aroma and taste of blueberry. It produces a notable and pleasantly euphoric high of the highest quality and is very long lasting. Medium to large calyxes. “Blueberry” has a long shelf life. Smell - After a 3 week cure it has a wonderful fruity smell that is almost like blueberries, but not quite, maybe not quite as soft a smell of blueberries, but beautiful in its own right. Hard to resist opening up and sticking your nose in the jar whilst curing. When put in a herb grinder the smell fills the room, bound to make you very popular with other smokers, but the smell is strong so beware around those who don't approve

1st "High Times Cup" 2000
3rd price "High Times Cup" 2001

Effect: Nicely balanced, very speedy
Potency: 8.5 out of 10
Yield: 2/3 ounces
Stature: Average size
Phenotype: Mixed, primarily Indica
Indoor: 55 to 60 days
Odor: Undeniably fruity
THC: 19.5%
Flowering period: 8 - 10 weeks

M-32

We hybridized a Goldenseeds Skunk-haze female with a Flo male from Dutch-Passion and the named resulting plant M32. In this way the “connoisseur” is guaranteed absolutely premium “Sativa” seeds. Very easy to grow alongside Indicas for a varied crop without having to pinch or train. A very dense plant with tons of frost all over, fantastic looking plant with haze odour. The plants finishes between 7 to 11 weeks, M32 needs a good cure to bring out the aroma and taste. Smoking the buds you will find it comes on pretty quick but still creeps up with a nice lift after an hour. Very little or no CL effect at all, so great for daytime, just find your dosage. Feels like electricity running all round your head then sweeping down your body. Classic Haze stuff. Can create massive paranoia in inexperienced smokers and can easily hold its own against any Sativa in our opinion. Think of M32 as a Nevilles Haze made easy to grow.

Effect: All in the head, legs, arms..
Potency: 9 out of 10
Yield: 2/3 ounces
Stature: Tall, dense Sativa
Phenotype: Primarily Sativa
Indoor: 60 to 75 days
Odor: Smooth taste Haze-like aroma

wow, thanks for the very detailed answer.
Np.

I do have a question for experienced growers out there.. all of the plants I have are doing great as you can see, except for I have 3 M32 plants as you can see up in the description that have shown no signs of flowering and they've been on the same 12/12 light schedule and nutrient schedule as all of the rest of the plants.

At first I thought maybe because it's a pure sativa it just needed an extended amount of time to reach 'maturity' and just flower on its own, but now the plant is almost 3 months old you'd think it'd be doing something by now.

Is there a way to force it into flowering, perhaps prolonged dark period?

i had some blue cheese and amnesia lemon that took a month to switch into flowering, but i attribute this to the fact that i only let them veg for a week and a half and they started to show deficiencies. i was only using foxfarm big bloom, which really has only trace amounts of the NPK, so i got some tiger bloom and within a couple days my defeciencies were fixed and my plants were showing flower.

Is your plant still growing healthily? or does it seem stunted? it could be a defeciancy of some sort that is holding it back, especially if it is stunted. What kind of ferts are you using?

This idea i am going to say right here is that, only an idea. I have never done this but it kinda makes sense to me. i would want a second opinion on this one, because i am curious about this idea as well. also this is assumming that it could be a deficiency.

so lets say hypothetically that it is a deficiency holding it back. a flowering plant needs more potash and phosphorus than nitrogen when flowering, so maybe if you give it a good dose of the two it might nudge it into flowering. The only thing that worries me is that too much of a nutrient can lock out other nutrients, or can burn the plant, so where is too much?? If this is a wacked idea, then i suggest if possible to use something with a higher NPK.

does this make sense? has anyone done this? is this the dumbest idea you have heard?

thanks, and i hope that maybe this helps you, and i hope that i didnt type this all for nothing haha

I think it's fine on the nutrient front.. using Fox Farm Big Bloom & Tiger Bloom. And they're nice and green + very healthy looking.

I did email the Goldenseed website and this was his response -

"Good morning Nick,
rather strange...it maybe the package was X-rayed coming througth
US customs, if you put them in 36 hours of darkness then back in 12/12 this will reset the
plants body clock and you should see signs of male/female sex organs, let me know how you get on,
hope this is of some help
best regards
Gene"

So I'm going to go ahead and try to give it a full 36 hours of darkness and see if that nudges it into flowering.
