i think eventually marijuana will be subjected to stantards in which regular medical prescriptions are handled, such as medicare and medical insurance. this is a way the federal govt can still regulate the drug and be able to capitilize on the $$$$$$$

eh, people can't grow their pharmaceutic drugs.

the reason why it wouldn't is this:

the majority of people still believe weed should cost as much as it does.

there is still a lot of greed in this world.

and when you don't have perfect competition, ONE person cannot change the entire economy. in perfect competition, one business could change the prices within a 10 mile radius.

for this to happen in the black market/ decriminalized system, you have to have the majority of dealers within the area believe in their price of weed, outsell the competition.

but either way, the majority of these problems with dealers is greed. as crackerjax has said.

because even if they realize that weed can be grown outside very cheaply, and that it might be fair to pass these savings along to the consumer. their greed makes them think, nah, why do that when I can have over 200% personal profits?

that's what's wrong with the system as it is.

I guess that is the problem.

But it just seems so logical to me that if its not expensive to grow
it outdoors, why fuck people in the ass with high prices

natural healing properties of herbs. They start engineering

all these drugs that have the same healing properties as
plants, but since it is made from all these crazy ass chemicals

you get fucked up side effects.

basically, back in the 1850's, pharmaceutics came around, then they phased out natural cures because you couldn't patent and make money on them.

I really don't like living on earth right now . . . to tell you the truth. I see so many flaws in this system I don't even want to live in it, perpetuate it. maybe if I could live on my own island or some shit . . . . . . . . .

because the temps have to be nice and cool or else

I agree with tilemaster. Location is a big factor. I have been paying over 400 a z for over 12 years in NYC. I pay that because i dont have the time to go to amsterdam after work. Plus considering delivery to my location and the hours my service runs, i think its a good deal. If someone knows better please come with the hook up.
That being said, i have begun a small grow to supplement what i buy. That and i am sick of Diesels.
I didnt vote because the poll makes no sense, of course weed should be free. And there is a difference in what i think it should cost, what it actually costs and where it costs that.
