how long should you veg a cloan after the 2 weeks it takes to root! Just cureous because im going to start cutting cloans tonight about 3 nodes long so around 6" or so. So after the 2 weeks it takes for the cloans to take root how long should i veg before starting the 12/12

well thats really up to you.. assuming you took the clone from a mature mother the clone itself is mature and ready to flower as soon as it has roots.. if you want to you can veg it out as much as you want... or you can just throw it straight into 12/12... either way is fine.. it really just comes down to your setup and what works best for you...

As you can see, it's not really that critical of a decision - as long as it has roots. That being said:

1. It's one thing to just barely have roots (little "Pubie" stubble) - it's quite another to have a "proportional root system" (rootball size roughly appropriate to size of clone).
2. Therefore let "new growth" be your guide. Once the root system has developed enough to support healthy new, vigorous, growth - it's ready to "Rock-and-Roll".

if u want a regular size i would say 2 to 4 for weeks, but like anybody else told you really depends on you, if you want to grow them tall , remember that while flower they still grow a couple of inches

hey man i vegged mine for about 21 days after i got it rooted well. i decided to start it then because the white hairs where showing themselves well. that was a good indicator for me that it was ready. hope this helps check out my journal in my sig
