yep that is correct...post away man, I love picturesyoooo i suscribed to this thread cause ur power skunk has 9 leaves right?! well my bois plant has 9 leaves and looks just like urs. i didnt kno the strain until now. u mind if i post a pic bruah
yea for sure, Power skunk is sativa dominant which makes it a taller growing plant, especially outdoors. When mine reached 6 ft. I tied them down so they are easier to maintain.View attachment 463812 iz gettin tall as fuck !!!
This is also my first tie down. If standing straight up (90* angle) pull it down to a 45 first and then after a week pull it down more yet...little by little you can get that sucker all the way down to the ground, then all your branches will go up right....lotsa colas! There is a number of ways to do it I'm sure but thats kinda what I'm doing.Real shit.... Ya well ive neva had a crop grow this tall so this is going to me my first tie down... Any advice
SHould be showing by mid July. I'll keep the pics coming.Nice lookin plants you got there. How long untill they should go into flower?
yea I vegged them indoors until they were all at least 12 inches tall and the tallest one standing over 19 inches tall. I figured that would save me from having animals eating my young plants...I wanted to beef them up and make sure they were strong and well established before I let mother nature take over.did u start them inside
Very good point...I haven't thought of it that way, yea its some tough stuff no doubt and it flowers fast too, I had to pull a few males the other day cuz they are already threatening with there open pollen sacs. Its funny we are on the topic because that's today's mission....pull all the males I can find. Your Idea is great but I'm almost certain even if I pull all the males I find, there will still be some pollination going on, because I'll either miss one somewhere or a bee or something will carry it to my girls from another area. This isn't the only area it grows wild around here there's many other areas on this property that it grows and I've even seen it growing in ditches along the road just drivin around lol. So seeing a few seeds in this outdoor crop I'm afraid is inevitable....hopefully its only a small handfull tho and I'll pick them all out and keep them for future strain development....cuz you just gave me the idea.well...any strain which has survived this long uncared for in the wild is of interest. It may not have desirable traits for tokin, but it must have some for survival! I would be interested in what would happen if you left some males and pollinated some good plants with them. Yeah, you will dumb down genetics(potency), but you may over a few generations get the benefits of these introduced and high tolerance species. Just my 2 cents...If they survive with no care than even with bugs, mold, mildew, etc they are somewhat resistant already. The possibilities my friend...
