gotta love that roadkill massive bag appeallHey guys, just wanted to update on the Green House plants. I know Jerry will be interested.
Here's two different angle shots. We're in the middle of week 2 here. These are gonna be some behemoths.
Let's go one by one to see the difference.
The Cheese - Middle of the pack as far as growth rate and stature. Leaves are neither wide nor very thin.
Lemon Skunk - Very thin sativa type leaves. Also one of the tallest plants.
Trainwreck - Very stretchy and flimsy looking but it is starting to branch less at the top so that is a promising sign. This is the tallest plant.
White Rhino - The most indica dominant of these plants for sure. Very wide leaves and the shortest of the group.
Great White Shark - Also indica dominant but not short like the WR. This is definitely the most vigorous grower.
Here's a shot of the GWS top. Massive cola potential here.
Random shot of a Sweet God I also have in the growroom.
Finally we've got some Roadkill I just chopped.

Great White Shark is gonna be frosty
White Rhino - also pretty frosty.
Cheese - one of these plants smells like a dead rotting corpse and I think it's this one LOL.
Trainwreck needs two pics because those weird upper leaves block the view.
The Lemon Skunk is finally starting to bloom. Today is day 20 of flower for crying out loud.
Also check this out. I usually grow plants with one or two main colas. Well this Bubba Kush doesn't really form colas, just a whole bunch of popcorn buds at every budsite which makes for crappy yields. So I'm going with a Bubba Kush Bush approach. I won't be doing any pruning on these so they stay as bushy as possible. I'm just hoping to maximize the number of budsites because the top and bottom buds on this strain are usually the same size. These have only been flowering for a couple days.

Well Babs you are about to LYAO even more because the Lemon Skunk is looking like a hideous spider creature now. All the others are doing great. I've never had a plant like the LS. It is a tough nut to crack indeed. I've been giving it 1/4 strength nutes compared to the other strains and it still has the overnute claw and leaves that are too dark green. You can see it in the front left on the wide shot here. Yikes.

I've managed to cool down the flower room considerably and you can see the Trainwreck leaves have flattened out a lot since the last pics.
I've flushed the Lemon Skunk several times and am now giving straight up water. These pics were two days ago and it's getting better but still shitty. I've never had problems quite like this with a plant in flower.
So Babs, take it really easy with flower nutes on the Lemon Skunk. If you see any downward hooking of the leaves then back them down. I'm still trying to figure out whether they will eventually be able to take the same levels as the other plants, just at a much later time in flower, or whether they will never be able to tolerate the nutes I give my other plants. While it is certainly frustrating I feel like I can't help but learn something from growing this strain.

About the claw on that Lemon Skunk...I've had the same problem (as you may recall) and am starting to see signs of it again in my blue cheese. I'm not entirely sure overfeeding is the only cause...my girls have only been fed once with some fish emulsion and some big bloom and still there are some leaves clawing.
I think too much heat may be a factor as well...you said your temps were high (well, you said you brought them down anyway, so I guess they were high) and lowering them helped the trainwreck, so maybe it was just too warm for the LS too and caused a little claw.
Either way, your sh*t looks awesome as usual.

That LS might just be dodgy genetics coz your growing (from what i've seen) is usually faultless. The rest look awesome though. I've currently got 2 SSH seedlings on the go. Did your SSH make it?

Thanks for stopping by guys. Anyone have experience with growing sativa dom phenos like the Lemon Skunk? If so I have many questions for you LOL. The most important is what I tried to say before. Do I just stretch out the same nute schedule to a longer period? So take two weeks to increase the same amount I would usually increase in one week? Please refer to my visual aid LOL. Red curve is my normal feed levels which needs only very minor tweaks to work perfectly for every other strain I've grown. Blue would be what I said above about stretching out the same shedule. Green assumes that I would have max levels at same time as normal, just a lot lower max. Orange assumes I have the same max time with lower max and also decrease to plain water at the same time as normal.
The yellow line indicates where I normally switch from Big Bud (0-2-4) to Ionic Boost (0-5-6). Should I keep this the same or switch later? WTF this is like growing for the first time all over again LOLOLOLOLOL. BTW the Lemon Skunk smells really spicy - very unusual smell.

blue line looks right mard and i would alsoshift ya yellow line to suit, thats what i do with longer lasting flowerers. I would work back from the pradicted times. IE. 10 days flush last feed, pk or whatever flowering nutes and veg nutes. I like to use veg and flower in the early flowering stage.
