Got buds.....now what??

Ok my plants are in full flower and look real nice especially for my first grow.Here's the thing...Is there any way to tell when your plants are ready for pickin without buying a magnifier or anything like that??I know alot of my shit ain't ready but on some the hairs are starting to turn a reddish color on the tips.I have roughly one month b4 harvest/frost starts setting in.Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. I'll post pics if needed....my cam ain't the best but it's something to work with.

without a magnifier waiting till 75 percent of the hairs turn color is a good indicator, but it's all strain specific

I'll post up some pics tomorrow when it's light out.I ain't really got money for a magnifier or a way to get anywhere that might sell one.Kinda in the middle of nowhere but I might be able to find a magnifier glass kickin around somewhere lol
I've taken some buds for a sample taste and it's pretty good...tastes and smells real sweet from the plant I picked from.I have 11 more of various strains.I don't really know what I have since it's all bag seed.I'm just hoping a month is long enough for maturity.They are all between about 2 weeks to a month in flower.

Siberia...lol I'm in Maine USA...we border Canada on the eastcoast
I don't plan on harvesting till about Oct 15th
Temps right now ain't bad....got upper 60's to mid 70's during the day and at night it's been in mid 40's-50's.
Be back in a minute with some pics...they came out like shit but better den nuttin I suppose.

Pics are really blurry u cant wee anything out of them....You and me are in the same boat...I too am in Maine and mine are bagseed also and they are aobut in the same stage. I hope that frost will hold out for us cause mine are about 4-6 weeks from harvest..which sucks..its probably not goinng to make it but thats ok ..Ill take what I can get ...next year I wll get a strain that works in maine...good luck and keep me posted on what u do...oohh...I also ged mine today ....molassas so the bud will swell/tighten up....also with your phosphros..gl...smoke on peace...

yeah he may have longer than that to go... maybe 6-8. im scared too we have a frost here in wisconsin so ill have to check them out tomorrow :)

I can't do much on the pics cuz the cam ain't all that great...just a cheap one and I don't know how to work it the best either lol
I don't see my plants going much longer than next month.My plants have been in flower since about mid august so I'm hoping 2 months is long enough to get at least a few good buds.I'll be posting more pics as they bloom
