if my plant is showing preflowers? It is showing no bud but has a smell of bud to the top bud site, mainly. Im curious because I'm trying to take a look in to when I should change my nutrients.. :leaf:

No, your plant is simply showing its sex, and weed will always smell like weed, just moreso when it is flowering. Its not critical to change the nutrients immediatly anyway. wait until you see buds forming, then switch it over.

So yes it is still in its vegatative state.

I agree that vegetative state is defined up until the full stature of the plant and its eventual defining traits, while in veg plants produce as much as possible and then switch over, never underestimate your growth period, then they settle in and flower, no rush if you want what I want wait it out and veg fat for fat buds, the transition concludes in about 2/3 weeks and you'll notice the difference when she ripens...

yeah, it does suck. I thought I was gonna have at least a couple pounds of sensi. but its all good. my camera is not that great but ill try to get an upclose picture tomorrow bro. Ill take pics of the calyxes too :joint:

haha well im wondering how 2 reverse this effect, i think preflowering is caused by underwatering when it drys out 2 much. i have one plant thats flowering right now and im pissed, sorry 2 rob your thread but i think my plant is done for and im looking for how 2 change this maybe take it back indoor??

Did you have it on an 24/0 light cycle inside?

It turns out the upper half of my plant was male, I had to clip off the upper 4 or 5 inches. Sad. But hopefully it's no so Hermi anymore :/...

i thinking the clone should have been put on 18/6 before i took it out side. my question is what make the plants preflower?
