The thing that I hate about HD is that A: you can never find anyone to helpso i was looking at clear plastic at home depot and they had some but wasn't sure if it be alright for a greenhouse & they had different thicknesses wasn't really sure on what one to get exactly. i was thinking maybe the 4mm or 6mm? or should i go to a garden shhhpot to get some?
B: If you DO infact find anyone, they don't know shit.
So, if I were you, I would shop at a mom/pop garden nursery supply shop where they know the products they sell. My guess is that the thicker the plastic, the more durable it will be against outdoor elements. The plastic doesn't even need to be clear. They sell an opaque white plastic for green houses that works great.
I would do my research online to see what materials you would need for an ideal greenhouse setup.
BTW, I was just at my local garden shop about an hour ago and they sell a "pop up" green house for like 200 bucks. Portable and lightweight. Just thought I'd let you in on the info. GL man!
