Is It Too Late To Supercrop?

I have many plants that have been outside since late april. They are not showing sex yet, but are getting ready to. Is it too late to supercrop them?
When i say supercrop, i dont mean that i wish to cut them way way back and basically start a new plant from old roots, but the bending down of the stems similar to LST. Most of the stems are very thick, but not all the plants are the same size or strength because they were planted in different mediums.

FYI-the 100% compost plants are the strongest and biggest (its about 30% worm castings). The MG potting soil plants are the smallest, palest, and weekest.

you are supposed to lst them when the stems are pliable...but if you can bend them without breaking them, then do it.

A few of the plants could be bent, and i do realize that during the flowering stage the plants can more than double in size, i just worry that its so late in the growing season that this stress will be more detrimental than benificial.

Unless you have some that are flowering prematurely, you should still be able to do what you want to them, and they will have plenty of time to recover from any stress before they start flowering. My opinion anyway!! Good luck on your grow!!:peace:

Crescent moon phase is when the best germination occurs and is a good time for thinning out seedlings to give room for the rapid growth that occurs at the next phase. Gibbous moon phase is when there is a greater uptake of nutrients from the soil, and swelling of fruits. Disseminating moon is an excellent time for seed setting and ripening. Balsamic phase is the best time for destroying weeds, pruning trees, and all preparation for the next cycle.

Ok, i was able to bend most of them a week ago. Some cracked a bit, but they flourished just the same. I didnt realize how big they would get durring flowering. I did however, manage to snap a large stem from one of the smaller plants. I quickly said SHIT then trimmed the leaves, cut the tips off of the remaining leaves to reduce water transpiration, manicured the base of the stem by scraping the sides and splitting the bottom and hitting it with some rooting powder. I then placed the cutting into a jar of water with a piece of black construction paper. It has been that way for about 4 days now and shows no signs of withering or shock, so well see what happens.

I noticed yesterday that one of the larger plants has a couple of teenie tiny hairs coming out, so i have one confrimed female. I read Jorge Cervantes bible (it took me 2 days from cover to cover) and if what he says is accurate, based on the way i propegated them and treated the seedlings (cool temperatures, high nitrogen, low light), i should have a very high female/male ratio.

Reading these forums, i really wish i could meet a lot of you people in person and we could trade buds and seeds, watch some reruns of ATHF, and smoke up.

Thanks to everyone for your fantastic tips and tricks and converastions. Its amazing how friendly a bunch of strangers can be. Kinda makes you think....if everyone enjoyed weed, the world just might be a nicer place.
